Quote:Awesome stuff!Yes. When Issue 20 launches any level 50 with Going Rogue can participate in the Incarnate Trials and earn progress towards unlocking the Incarnate slots. This includes Alpha; you can earn the unlock via Incarnate Trials instead of going through Ramiel's arc.
Your bud in the high-powered armor,
Black Scorpion
Oh, and did yet another 'lackey' suddenly wise up and beat you up for the 'incarnate powered armour' you used to have?
-
No.
Why?
Because there is a metric crapton of characterful zones already sat there with nothing in them!
Astoria, Perez, Boomtown, Creys Folly, Terra Volta and all the others need a lot of TLC before ANY new zones should even be thought of.

The Devs have stated in one of their interviews, quite explicitally, that no nemesis system like the CO one will make it into this game.
Sorry, but them's the breaks. And it's been suggested to death already anyway. -
Quote:Depends if ones being playing it every available waking hour and ones been playing it a few hours in the evenings. It will make a helluva difference.Would it be more or less unkind if the two players had been playing on the guitar for the same number of years?
Yeeah, first time Numi cheated after out first plant
By the time we got back, every Phalanx member was Forted and buffed to the gills. Even with Vengeanced Shivans they slaughtered us, so I consider they cheated.
After that, despite a slight miss-pull on the final mish of the second attempt, we pounded them down in a much more equal manner, and had fun doing it. -
Quote:So, that would rule out allowing PCs to use various emotes and costume pieces that might clip, act wierdly or look odd for the fraction of the second it would take to draw/undraw.Those animated costume pieces change postions when changing the various width and heigth sliders though. Which means the animations need to be changed or you're dropping your guns in midair or sticking them into your hip or theigh. Just think granites and lobsters chucking coffee over their shoulder. It's something entirely different from holding weapons in your hands.
Non animated holsters (including the 2 frame thing) wouldn't have that problem, but since we still don't have them I think it's safe to say that there are other issues with that don't make it all that simple as people are assuming.
Meaning we should probably wipe out half the emotes and costume pieces currently on live, because hey; what you described is exactly what they do there already. -

Quote:I hope you don't mean 'Make it the 69 month Vet Award'Wanted: BEAR costume pieces for 69 months and so do a LOT of players! A real type of bear tail, hands/claws and feet/paws too!
Natural Claw/paws swipe in Claw power please!
Monster fur/ animal fur on human legs to feet!
Greeeeeaaat job on the tigers, wolves etc.
Thanks again for a sweet playing game!
Because that's a bleedin' awful idea. -
Quote:Yeah, sadly.I don't think scaling is going to allow you to have a color pattern like this

Thats a great example of what I mean by having a non-snarling option for the heads, though. Seriously, who has the tooth fixation in the design team? It's nearly as bad as Liefeld with his straps... -
Try closing it and re-opening it, Ly. It sometimes decides it's going to herp the derp and hurr-da-durrr.
It literally makes that ammount of sense >< -

I'd say all of them are decent. Although, yeah, PP customisation has been asked for, lots. Doesn't mean we don't still want it, mind

Noticed on Jackets on the Huge Model, likely to carry on to the Male and Female models;
Chest options don't actually affect the arms. This is noticeable when picking short sleeve from the sleeve options, as that is the only one that exposes the arms. No chest option affects them EXCEPT Clockwork. Which glitches it out and seems to merge with the basic arm details, likely because of it's built in texturing.
Given that is the only way to get a standard shirt with fur under it, that should really be rectified.
(Or give Males and Huge a damn 'Shirt' option like Females have....it's only been, what, how many years now? ¬¬ ) -
Subjective; Please make the Huge body Wolf head the same as the Male body one. The Huge one, currently, looks different. And not in a good way. It just scales really, really badly IMO.
Oh, and yes please to giving Grey Wolf option two-tone, even if its the wrong build for a fox
-
Objective; Uhm...from an Objective viewpoint, I'd say all good here.
Subjective: Riiiight...
Well, I love it. Thats that outta the way. I was literally glitching myself out as I waited for test to load ^^
Personal feedback;
-Heads on Huge bodies could do with scaling up. All heads on Huge bodies don't scale very kindly, but it's really noticeable on the animal heads.
-More, non-bared teeth options for the future? Please? Not every animal should be set in a permanant snarl
-Would it be feasible to do a scaled up version of both feet? Much like the Medium and Big cat heads? The bird feet look a little spindly, and while the cat feet can pass off as wolf feet as well, I'd like to be able to replicate the chunky paws seen in the trailer without being forced to use a Huge model with the scalers cranked to unreasonable levels.
-Fleas are...yeah. A bit odd. Cool, and I see other uses for them, but odd. And cockroach sized, as someone said XD
-I freaking LOVE Beast Run, the feather burst/spin and the Bestial Rage Aura. Been wanting the breath style option since I saw Behemoths
Fur burst/spin is good too, but not quite on the same high calibre as feathers.
-More pattern options allowed on the parts, please? Being able to make cyborg-styled animals would be fantastic
So...uh, yeah...
MAKE IT THE 23RD ALREADY!
-
I bloody did as well!
*scuttles off* !!! -

Judging from the three different colour wolves shown, and the fact the minotaur head in the video is brown while the one on the leaked NC store image was black, I'd 99% say Yes.

Christ alive, who the hell let Rob Liefeld draw the feet on Spidey in that one?
And why is everyone in the background a bobblehead? -
Quote:WHY?------------
I have a feeling if you literally had 48 solors in the League your League would fail the Trials miserably. As they should.
Give me one good reason why? If you have 48 decent players, with decent builds and decent levels of skill, why the hell should they not be able to do it? Because they happen to be solo? I'm really hoping I'm missing something here, because that ain't a proper reason. Not by a long shot.
That's not 'being a soloer', that's 'being a bad player', also known as 'being an utter tool'.Quote:And I mean soloers as people doing their own thing and not listening to the raid leader . . . as sometimes happens on HAMIDON Raids which fail.
As many pugs full of fail have shown you can still have 8 people appearing in the team window and doing their own thing, that they might as well be 8 soloers
The two do not go hand in hand.
Yes, that's exactly how it came off.Quote:I can see where you might think I said all solo players are bad. If that's how this response came off that's not what I meant. What I meant was that I don't think the Incarnate Trials are so easy that 48 literal soloers could do this and succeed. It was a comment on coordination necessary to do them. Which i assume would need SOME coordination that you couldn't get if everyone was literally soloing. Especially not if you've scaled the content to 48.
Coordination! = Solo unfriendly.
Literally soloing! = unable to coodinate. -

Quote:Yes, but your also assuming that that bunch of soloers are, for some reason, always going to be bad players. At least thats how it reads.Correct, however a bad player only hurts hims self when solo. For these raids I have a feeling it won't be as easy as a bunch of soloers jumping and being able to do them successfully (as they shouldn't be able to) like the Mothership Raid.
These sound just a tad bit harder than the Mothership Raid. LOL

I've seen teams where the players will literally fragment into 3-4 seperate groups on a map.
One of them happened to be the last mission of the ITF. Guess what? We won. We also cleared the whole map, laughing while we squashed the puny mortal humans.
Whats the whole beef against solo players, anyway? Did one of the violate you once or something?
-
Yes. It's called Balance. It's to stop any one AT being 'better' than any other. Or any set from being better than any other.
You don't need IOs to be able to solo or be badass anyway. My Invul/Elec tanker, jsut by adding tough and weave, can stand there and smack mobs about till kingdom come, laughing happily as they bounce off him like rubber bullets. Sure, anything psychic is going to mess him up, but thats the cost that comes with only taking 10% S/L damage.
Same with Granite Tanks. Best def and res in the game (curse them...) at the cost of movement and damage.
What your asking for is an actual Tankmage. And that ain't going to happen. -
The thing that annoys me is that the Black Scorpion Power doesnt seem to hit once Reichs has actually gone untouchable. Which is rather lame. You HAVE to use it pretty much as soon as he shows up.
I smack him about with it every time its up for good measure, just in case.
