Hamidon is a big pink nucleus in the middle of the green blob. Not sure what screenshots you're looking at. He's not visible in ANY of Leandro's screenshots.
  2. Mainly because Scirocco is an anti-villain (the villain version of the anti-hero? lol)... sort of kind of. The rest are all villains. (Obviously with different reasons to be.)
  3. Do you have the Test Server installed? If you do, do you have the same issue on Test as Live? I think there's a fix on Test for some of the mouse lag issues...

There has been mumbling in a few corners of the forum that global mail circumvents SG/friends, which indicates that SG/friends is character-to-character mail only.

I haven't remembered to test this myself while in game, so cannot confirm or deny.

but the other CoV was just a simple DVD case (like the ones of 360 or Ps2).
The Architect Edition was 2.99, but the bundle was in really bad shape.
And the box said: Create costumes.
    So, no thank you.
If it wasn't two game boxes wide , it was the normal version. The CE box was two game boxes wide. If it didn't come with seven Clix, it was the normal version. The CE box came with seven Clix. If you don't have access to the Arachnos cape/chest symbol, it was the normal version. The CE code grants the Arachnos cape/chest symbol.

Did it look like THIS (CoV regular) or THIS (CoV CE)?

edit: If the Architect Edition was 2.99 and unopened, you should have gotten it. It's more than just costumes, it also includes a free month and a freebie "Super Booster" - link to contents.

Holy crap. I had one of these when I was a kid. I never knew it was an actual computer though. I was young enough (I was born after it was created ) that I just thought it was a game system. I remember playing games on it for hours upon hours. I even played the educational games.

CoV Collector's game with more than one Clix. I think it came with all seven of them. Also, it came with a fancy Arachnos cape and a fancy Arachnos chest symbol.

So it sounds like he got the normal CoV. Still a decent deal at five bucks, but not nearly as awesome as getting the CE for five bucks.

ADDITIONALLY: You cannot apply more than one code from any single retail type to your account. One CoH, one CoH CE, one CoV, one CoV CE, one GvE, one Mac, one AE. Additionally, if you apply the CoV CE before the CoV or GvE code, you cannot apply a CoV or GvE code.

So no, I do not recommend the OP buying a bunch of the boxes up unless s/he wants to create a bunch of different accounts.
  9. Since most of my toons have a Stealth IO these days, I can say with certainty that falling damage does not suppress stealth. Which is why I said it.

OPENING the portal doesn't interrupt long-cast powers. The portal DESPAWNING is what interrupts. If you see someone activating a long-cast power, do not step through your portal and make it despawn. It's just common courtesy.

It's also annoying if you're trying to monitor items from your attributes window when things keep jumping around. Can't tell you how many times I've had to delete a wrong item from my monitor window and try again.

I don't like the slash command (which I can never remember off the top of my head, anyway), which in any case, doesn't even recognize every option within combat attributes.
  12. Go into options and select advanced graphics options, then hike Character Detail up to maximum (200%). There is little to no impact on the game's performance when this is done unless you're in a huge raid-style fight which only happens toward the end range of levels.

I gotta agree with everyone else and say you're overreacting way too much, Sam.

It is entirely possible that it *was* the updater downloading 2.5GB. He just got the game and was installing it.
  15. Any kind of damage (except falling damage) - to you or by you - suppresses Stealth IOs, Stealth's stealth component (and half its defense bonus), and SS's stealth component.

For some reason, because of the way the lips are angled and the teeth, it looks like LJ is about ready to chew on Deebs' jaw, while Deebs is looking obliviously on, thinking perhaps she's about to get a smooch or an ear-whisper. And because of LJ's mask, which makes her face look extremely blank, there is no romance to this chewing. XD

But i posted cause like always it was on the reply what do you know is state of the art.
When technology is always one step ahead of the medium , what we have is not state of the art tommorow . what your expensive graphic card you just bought in the shop .
There is already a replacement in the warehouse a month ago .
I have no idea what the second half of your post is about, other than lumping me in with je_saist, because I *never* said anything about graphics to you or in response to you. Please keep the conversation straight. The *only* thing I asked you was about your weird writing style. You could respond to that question without rambling about life and fire and how people perceive things and stuff... that'd be great.

It was simple curiosity, since adding a space before a punctuation mark is not taught in any school. Not entirely sure why you went off on a tangent. You type too fast, which forces you to add an extra space before every punctuation mark? That just makes no sense...
  20. Out of curiosity, why do you put a space before each of your punctuation marks?

  22. My main is an Empathy defender. I don't ever warn for buffs anymore. At the beginning of the team, and if anyone new joins after the start of the team, I tell people to either be in melee range, or be within a few feet of melee range. Then I fire the buffs as they recharge, positioning myself as close to the middle of the player-pack as possible. I haven't been ******* at in the last couple years with this tactic. I rarely miss people, and if I do, I send them a quickie tell to stay closer to melee. They usually get the point.

If I'm playing a Kin, I tell everyone that my heals and end-replenish are melee range, so stay in melee, and that I fulcrum shift from melee, so if they want to be uber, stay in melee, goddamnit.

If you don't have the Ouro Portal summoning power yet, you will get it once you complete a mission using the SG/VG Ouro Crystal.
You can also join a level 25+ supergroup mate/teammate doing Flashback missions from their base Pillar, badge missions or arcs that are lower level, whose minimum level you qualify for. For example, a level five can tag along on a level 25+ doing Wincott's arc (level 5-10 or something), and get the Ouro Portal that way.
