Post I17 mouse issues

Before Issue 17 I had absolutely no mouse issues, it moved with zero lag. Once I17 came along, however, my mouse now lags severely and has clicking issues. The only time ingame that this does not happen is when I am on the enhancement screen.

Any help on the problem would be great and if you need more information to help me with the problem I can post it (And as a warning I am not the most tech-savvy person and would appreciate answers that are easy for me to understand).

PhoenixEye, could you please tell us what kind of mouse you have? This might help to better pinpoint a possible help fpr you.

Do you have the Test Server installed? If you do, do you have the same issue on Test as Live? I think there's a fix on Test for some of the mouse lag issues...

I don't have the Test Server installed, never bothered to do so.

I. too, have a Logitech mouse but it's cordless. Here are a few things you might try.

Open your Windows control panel and go to Accessibility Options...untick the StickyKeys, FilterKeys and ToggleKeys.

Make sure your driver is current. (Looks to be the Setpoint 6, same as mine.)

Try changing some settings in your logitech mouse control panel..'up' the acceleration a bit.

Clean out your temp files, run a disc cleanup and shut down any unnecessary background programs that are running before you start your game.

See if switching to a different usb slot might help.

By the way, a lot of people are experiencing a problem like yours. The last patch seems to have helped a few folks, but it's still an issue the devs are aware of. I have been playing 6 years now, so I've seen a lot of problems come and go. Things get fixed. Good luck, and hang in there!

Alright, the mouse now is less laggy now, though I hit some points where I have some but that could easily be normal lag or the issue that other people are facing or some temporary one like you suggested.

I did not have to untick anything and I did have quite a few temp files to delete so probably had to deal with that.

Thanks for the help.

Try going to your options when in-game, and go to the Graphics and Audio tab.

When there, go part way down in the Advanced Graphics Settings section, and look for a setting called Mouse Cursors. Try setting that to Compatibility Mode instead of Color, and see what that does for you.

If it does, then when the patch currently on test goes live, you might try switching back and seeing if that takes care of it.
