Quote:The Hami O bug? It's been around long enough that the devs have acknowledged it (and stated a few years ago that they intended to fix it, though of course things get pushed off the schedule as more important things go along.)...and you've filled out bug reports and provided examples to other players so they could verify it, right?
ParagonWiki on the "multiple types" exploit (and yes, it's an exploit to use it this way, but not one that will get you hunted down and burnt at the stake) -
When I did this, support simply suspended (permabanned; it's still listed in my master account) the wrong account and applied the appropriate code to my correct account.

Caffeine has no effect on me. I can - and have - drank a 2 liter of Mountain Dew by myself over the course of an evening (tabletop RPG, arts/crafts, and board gaming, all in one night, from about 8pm to about 2:30am) and didn't have a single problem. My friend, who also drank a 2 liter of Dew over the same evening, had the jitters so bad that she eventually stopped sitting down and did all her stuff standing at the table. She also couldn't talk straight, and had a hard time keeping track of conversation. I went right to sleep when I got to that point, and woke up refreshed in the morning. Apparently my friend didn't go to sleep until the NEXT night.
It's the same every time I've tried to juice myself up. I might get a minor boost, but it could also be attributed to psychosomatic results (I expect to get a boost from caffeine, so my body perks up). And it's not from caffeine tolerance; I have never really injested a lot of caffeine, my whole life, so I can't have built up a tolerance to it. I drink far more water and fruit juice than anything else.
I'm just weird.
It also sucks A LOT because there isn't a surefire way to find my second wind other than just sticking it out until I find it naturally. And sometimes that just doesn't happen and I pass out. I have fallen asleep at the keyboard a couple times (been PC gaming since 1995 and I can count the number of times I've qwertyfaced on one hand, so it's not often) because I was expecting "just a couple more minutes". -
I think I know who is reading into a post what is not written there. Note: I am, in fact, NOT cranky. I'm not even bothered by your posts. I am, however, moderately bemused that you insist on pushing your ideals on others by belittling those who do not adhere do said ideals. As if belittling people makes them want to learn more about your ideals.

Collect them via various in-game activities, then turn them in at the Vanguard crafting terminal. -
Quote:That's like saying anyone with Dark Blast has access to the Dark Pit power, and they should all take it. Well, yeah, they have access to it, but not everyone wants to take it, and not everyone *SHOULD* take it.I never said they were. They both have access to the power and they both should take it, words in mouth etc.
Everything in this game is about you (each individual player) having fun, not appeasing some cranky other player who wants to tell you how to play your character.
If you don't want to play with tanks/brutes that don't take taunt, quit the team, don't tell them they're doing it wrong. -
Quote:Taunt auto-hits up to five people (in PvE), so I dunno what you're talking about "somewhat-inaccurate".Seconded, basically a somewhat-inaccurate ranged AoE that costs no END. And taunts as a bonus.
Of course, promoting this use means the cost of the taunt proc is gonna go up now. Thanks, Aggy.
Well, for Tanks anyway. I don't remember if it's auto-hit on brutes and I'm too lazy to look.
edit: unless you're talking about the proc being the actual AoE, in which case, yes. -
Quote:CoV can be bought separately, but it gives you access to both sides. CoH can be bought separately, but it gives you access to both sides. CoH Collector's can be bought separately, but it gives you access to both sides. CoV Collector's can be bought separately, but it gives you access to both sides. Etc. etc. etc.Not all. CoV can still be bought separately at the NC Store.
Why anyone in their right mind would choose to do this (particuarly with GR Collector's Edition coming out) is beyond me. But, as with most things in a democratic, open market, people can choose to buy an item even if it's not the best value.

I have it at its base slot on any character that takes it (tank/brute), and the base slot has chance for psi damage in it. I like Taunt when it's slotted with that proc. It's almost an attack that way. It almost always hits at least one dude taunted, if not more than one. More damage is more damage! It finds its way into a regular rotation in my attack chain.

Nope. Move your camera around until you get a clear click.

Sometimes we do get redname (developer/community relations) responses here in PQ, but it is SERIOUSLY rare. Probably less than 1%, due to the sheer volume of posts/threads in here, and how fast things move.

Because they decided not to?
If you really want the answer, ask someone who knows the answer...we're just players here. PM Avatea and she can pass on the question and maybe (but probably not) get an answer. -
Doing what you said won't get your buddy the reference credit. It has to be through Refer a Friend to get the reference credit. The GMs are not capable of inserting people into the Refer a Friend program for someone else.

I'd go a different route: knock all your settings down to minimum, then bump them up until you have a satisfactory combination of pretties and lag.

The OP obviously already has an account, and has been around long enough with enough posts to not be on a trial account. Therefore, the OP does not care about the part of game cards that make them different than time cards. Therefore, it doesn't matter if the OP gets time cards or game cards, they will function the same.

They *can't* merge them, but they *can* either a) suspend the incorrect account and give you a new code, or b) suspend the incorrect account and apply a new code to the correct account. I've seen both happened. (B) happened to me when trying to add CoH to my CoV account. (A) happened to two of my friends doing the other way around.

Also, use phpBB when exporting your build, not UBB.threads.

Very nearly all attacks that check against elemental defense also check against either smashing or lethal defense. There are comparatively few elemental-only attacks, especially in the 5th.
Crey are a good example for elemental defense, although they also have large amounts of smashing/lethal. Smashing/lethal are the most common attack types in the game, so it'd always be better to gear for S/L over elemental, unless you already start out with considerable elemental defense. -
The difference between casual players and non-casual players is pretty epic, too. Pretty much no matter what the team makeup is for my group of friends, nothing stands a chance. Nothing. However, take your average PUG and they're going to have some serious issues. They don't have the familiarity of playstyles as the friends, they don't have the vast amounts of experience as the friends, and they typically do not have confidence in their teammates.
