I tried searching for this topic but i couldn't find it.

Does anyone know which stores currently carry the CoX 30-day or 60-day subscription cards?

I've check the Rite Aid/Best Buy/7-Elevens in my area and they all say they stopped carrying it.

Just checking, but did you ask about the NCSoft Timecards? They work for all NCSoft subscription games including CoH, so there are no CoH specific ones anymore.

I don't know what stores sell them though.

Always remember, we were Heroes.

I saw a pile of them at my local Wal-Mart the other day. I've never seen them there before. They were hanging from a strip by the console games. There were at least two strips of a dozen each there.

I can only recall seeing a couple of them at my local Best Buy and EB, but that was at least a year ago.

Thank you, Champion.

Just so you're aware:

From the NCSoft Support Page

Although they are labeled for specific games, PlayNC/NCsoft game time cards are usable on any of our games. However, you must use a game time card specific to the territory of your game account. You can use a City of Heroes, City of Villains, Lineage, Lineage II, or generic PlayNC/NCsoft Game Time Card for any of those games. For example, you can use:

  • A City of Heroes Game Time Card on a Lineage II game account
  • A Lineage II Game Time Card for a City of Villains game account
  • A City of Villains Game Time Card for a Lineage game account
  • Any combination therein
Please keep in mind that once a game time card has been used, the game time applied cannot be transferred to another account. The game time provided by a single game time card cannot be split between multiple game accounts. Additionally, once registered, the game time cannot be paused or stopped. It will expire after the included prepaid game time has been used, whether the account has been used or not.

NOTE: Game cards are not the same as game time cards. Game cards can only be used as indicated on the packaging.

NOTE: Game cards work exactly the same as time cards, if you're just using them to add time to your account.

The only way game cards work differently is that you can also use them to start an account, and they come with a 30 day (real time) flight jet pack.

Time cards cannot be used to start an account. You need a retail code for that.

I've seen both 30-day NCSoft time cards and 60-day CoH time cards at my Wal-Mart, and apparently they're carrying them chain-wide. EB/Gamestop seems to be hit or miss though. Of the three I stopped in at a little while back only one carried any, and then only the 30-day NCSoft cards.

I used Amazon to buy some for a friend for Christmas.

I've seen Gamestop Carry the 60-day cards in among the rest of the subscription cards they carry. I've also seen them carried at Fry's Electronics.

Wal-Mart's a hit or miss though. Can't say if any other Big Box Chain is carrying them either.

Thank you for the time...

So what you're saying is that game cards are not the same as time cards...

The OP obviously already has an account, and has been around long enough with enough posts to not be on a trial account. Therefore, the OP does not care about the part of game cards that make them different than time cards. Therefore, it doesn't matter if the OP gets time cards or game cards, they will function the same.
