Okay "cold on a cob" is one of the funniest things I've read in a while.
-
That's mostly archaic now.
Most fa ggots these days are sort of meat ball thingies.

I liked Silent Hill. Looking forward to this, especially if everyone is returning.

Quote:If magic were real we'd re-write the laws of physics to incorporate it.Technology no matter how advanced must obey the laws of physics. Magic, were it real, would be capable of breaking the laws of physics.
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
Conversely; "any sufficiently rigorously defined magic is indistinguishable from technology"
Because the comics are always toying with this idea and this might in fact be the case depending on what retcon we are currently in. Additionally, this is it's own continuity, so it can pull from any Marvel continuity it wishes, such as Ultimate, or in this case, Earth X.
This isn't a new idea to people who follow comics. -
Hmmm, usually that happens when a background process is trying to take priority for some reason.
Check to see that you don't have any programs running in the background that could be causing this, updaters, such as apple's or adobe's can do this. -
Last I heard he repressed the symbiote and died of cancer.
Edit: My bad, he's back and now known as "Anti-Venom" and has other powers and stuff. -

You people have no sense of humour.
Yes, it's funny. -

Yup, that looks like Red Skull.

Wait, is this a reboot?Quote:Sound more like they plan on continuing the story, rather than erasing it.
"We recognize the responsibility we have to do justice to the memory of the original with any prequel or sequel we produce."
Personally, I'd love to see more stories within Blade Runner's world. Dark Cyperpunk Dystopia, hell yes! A reboot would suck, but a sequel would be cool. -
Quote:The thing is, he doesn't "attack" people, he tries to get them to leave. He doesn't just attack someone unannounced. Additionally, he DOES call Police, he doesn't just leave people tied up then clear off.I have no problem with the notion of hey I can make a difference. I'm all for doing the less glorious stuff that makes a real difference in the long run. Running around attacking people isn't it. We have cops in real life, and they re not remotely as useless as the ones in fiction.Aiding them can do far more good than being a lone wolf.(such as calling them or taking pictures of criminals.forming a neighborhood watch...I know boring stuff that doesn't involve violence.) There's smart ways of fighting crime and operating perfectly with in the rules. This isn't it.
It's all fine and well saying "call the police and take pictures" but if you're watching someone get beaten up, the 5-20 minutes it takes between the call and the police arriving could literally mean life or death. -
While he's certainly putting himself in danger, if more people took an interest in helping others maybe he wouldn't have too.
The fact is, people get hurt and killed, and everyone from all sides is just saying "Don't do anything, or you'll get hurt too." It's nice to see someone who'd rather get hurt themselves rather than let someone else get hurt while they do nothing. -
Very sad indeed.
It's a shame he never got to show up in the new series, even if only for a cameo. -

I hope so too. I don't like many of DCs characters. Batman is one, and Green Lantern is another... I was hyped when they said they'd be doing a GL film... and then I was very disappointed after seeing the trailer.

Quote:Quite possibly. But when the third Batman movie comes out I don't foresee anything from Marvel touching it.
Having said that, Iron Man didn't fair too badly against Dark Knight. Now, Dark Knight was better, no doubt, but Iron Man was a very close second. Even with Dark Knight Rises, Marvel might still have something up their sleeves. After all, The Avengers will be released around the same time... so... who knows. -
