Yes, there are plenty. Demoediting is a fine art, one which has brought us genius videos of music and silliness. If you search Youtube for some you'll find there are a lot that were made with demoediting.

I hope that folks like his art as much as I do, this guy's all pro, all heart, and ... wow what troubles his family is having. It looks like he does really great comissions (there is a link in his journal) and they're reasonably priced for the great quality they look to be.

Well the most obvious thing that comes to mind for me, is another performer type who juggles fire, breathes it and does that kind of act. No clue on a name, but it seems sensible to have another performer.

Unfortunately, that said, the only thing I can think of is ... mohawk hair, maybe the matte leather (the primative stitched one) pants, and the little round spiked 'shoulder' pieces that attach right where his arm bands are. Otherwise we don't have loincloths, and we don't have boots much like that (other than the Holiday santa boots, which are seasonal only). And sadly, no tribal teeth thing necklace.

1) contact your ISP - you have the right to know why your site's gone, and you certainly have the right to have *what was on it* back. They would rarely outright delete anything, until it's proven that it's against their policies to host it.

2) use a host which does not have any restrictions on your content. When you do have adult material up, you must remember: anyone on the internet CAN and WILL find it. If you do nothing to protect your interests - ie: nothing to stop 13 year olds from seeing something they shouldn't be legally - it IS going to fall apart. Know your isp's rules, and if you have a problem with them, host your images *without showing them*, use links instead.

3) .... how do you not have backups of anything? I know a lot of people who for whatever reason have never 'backed up' anything. But how is that possible? Did you write stories *directly on your website* and not copy to your own drive? I have in fact lost one or two pages worth of stories that I wrote on Geocities about 7 or 8 years ago - but since then I've learned: nothing goes on the web until it's got 2 copies on my hard drive and a copy burnt to disk. There *must* be a copy of things *somewhere* on your drive.

INTERNET TEMP FILES for instance, unless you've cleared a lot of space by hand recently, usually have the full contents of every single page you've visited recently. Use a paint program's browser to enter these folders, you might be very, very happy at the results. (I know for a fact that worked on windows 98, I do not know how well for XP, but it's likely.)

*HUG* I'm so sorry that people are jacktards. But this is a lesson for everyone. Back up your files, and read the fine print. Protections from stupidity start by protecting your OWN works. Think like a tard for a moment, and figure, "how could someone screw up this setup?" and go from there.

Yeah I know, it's the biggest list of concurrent requests I've ever done for anything, ever.

Most of the other characters in the world (and there are plenty) came over the course of what, 15 to 18 years. I took some breaks - while working or whatever, just not taking any elves on. But then... well, this one sorta just happened it and the Nexus girls, it's just incredible the response I have gotten. (the Nexus being my dragon cyberpet adoption site group.)

I already ruined my base trying to fix it last night. I am unhappy.

We need to be able to /save and /pause our base building. A simple "make all changes to base?" Yes/No would do wonders for this... I am sick of moving things around, and suddenly I can't even place the teleport room on a fully blank wall, because it says "it may not be accessable from the entrance" when the ENTRANCE room is where I'm linking it.... Then, not able to place the TELEPORTER there, after clearing space on TWO, unrelated rooms, so its doorways can BOTH be set down... and suddenly the tporter is 'in the way' ... so I can't place it, nor move anything else.... *frustrated*

Indeed - and if you fill out an elf form (see sig) I'll manage to make one in that particular style too Tuuuurrrrboooo! (And even if you're completely, totally and utterly not turbo ski: I also have made fictional people, muses and characters into Elves. Working on TA shortly too.)
