There's at least four specific in-game references to BAB as a Phalanxer and many occasions where he's with them.

Ever since CoV, BAB has been written in as a Phalanxer.

Not to mention that his Praetorian counterpart is a Praetor.

BaB's has also appeared in promotional art with the other Freedom Phalanx members, such as the recently stated Who Will Die promotional campaign.

There is also the Lord Recluse Strike Force where BaB's is one of the combatents, and the mission objective is to defeat "Statesman and the Freedom Phalanx... not "Statesman, the Freedom Phalanx, and the Remaining Regulator: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Lord_Rec...reedom_Phalanx
This alone should be sufficient to establish that BAB is indeed and without question a member of the Freedom Phalanx. But there is also:

    His comic book bio.

    Or Crimson Revenant's arc.

    Briefing
Arachnos has learned that a member of the Freedom Phalanx is visiting Crimson Cove. Naturally, this can't be allowed to happen. Arachnos could give the job to their own Operative Rutger, but they know this one has to succeed. So, wisely, they have come to me. And, knowing your talents, I have come to you. Together, we can take out the Back Alley Brawler.
Or Silos' arc where you have to rescue Phalanx and Vindicator members, and guess who's in that mix?
  4. Not this time. File structure has changed. Start the download and take a nap.

I guess they believe after 5 seasons the contracts will get too high and so they cancel the show or something to that effect. Also they have enough for syndication by the 5th season i believe so there is no reason to keep paying when they can just put out reruns.
Traditional syndication used to require 100 shows to be picked up. And they keep stopping 80% of the way there. Idiots.

The only place you can shop shortened series for syndication are some two-bit cable channels like, you know, SciFi.

They're to replicate the full list of Live servers to test things like character transfers, global channels, and stuff.

And hopefully, one day, cross-server teaming.

For brand new installations, it will download in stages. The first files to download will be the character creator. Once they're d/l'd, you can make a character, and while you're doing that, the files needed for the tutorial will download in the background. Once they're d/l'd, you can do the tutorial and while you're doing the tutorial, the rest of the files will d/l in the background.
  9. Shard PvP?

Because you want hide 'n seek added to CoH? Don't we get enough of that with kill-all Oranbegan maps?

Reason I ask is I don't really want to re-download ~6Gb data ~4Gb of which I probably have on my PC already...
The file structure of FREEDOM is vastly different than pre-FREEDOM. Since they want the game to load in 3 stages (so that a brand new customer goes almost immediately into the costume creator while the tutorial is loading in the background; and so the rest of the game is loading in the background while you're in the tutorial), the files in the piggs have been reorganized.

Apparently, the updater/launcher isn't smart enough to simply move unchanged internal files, it will re-download them into the correct pigg file (a pigg file is basically a proprietary zip file).

So, if you haven't been updating Beta over the past few months (as I have ) you're looking at a nearly brand new install. And the copying over of Live files won't help.

This means when the FREEDOM pre-install happens... it will be epic, son.

They have never made closed beta forums accessible to the general public in the past except for that one 'clopen' beta <shudder>. They don't want old and settled debates to be redebated.

However, they freely allow closed beta participants to recopy anything from closed to open forums they think is germane.

So, you hear that, Close Beta folks? Start copying and pasting!

Puts on Cryptoparagonian divining pointy hat:

Noble Savage has mentioned that newer costume sets are now likely to be made in two layers: An under layer of form fitting tights, and an outer layer of armor (Defense and IDF). Or an under layer of armor and an outer layer of glowy and drapey bits (Ascension and Ascension Radiance).

So, for the new CoT, you have the tights with the thorn pattern overlay as the under set, and the shoulder pads, leg flaps, backpack thorns as the over set.

I'm guessing all those bits were already in the system and the big overlays were going to be just for the main bosses.

What was seen at ComicCon were level 10 CoT in just the tights underlay. And yes, it was disturbing. As well as the lack of hoods and facial mufflers and blue men.

And so when we complained about that, it was relatively easy for them to extend the overlay to all the members of the CoT and no longer have low level tights-only guys. When Posi said that the Devs thought the new CoT were fantastic looking, they were right because they knew what the big bosses were wearing.

And the genius of using the player models for the NPCs is that they can easily mix and match pieces to cover up all the members of the faction, just like players can do in the MA. They didn't need the costume makers to fashion new pieces -- that would indeed have taken a few months.

  15. If all these pieces are for players, too, then can't wait to see the formation of the Supergroup:

    The Pope Rangers!

    4. If we're looking at spandexed crotch or butt, you're doing it wrong. Tunics, Robes, belt pieces, loincloths and breech cloths for some modesty, please.

    5. Less muscled body types.

    6. Flat mattes or rough leather. No shiny stuff except if it's accessories.

    7. Less dragon scales, more thorny spikes.

    8. Oranbegans take over modern day folk. So, when we see their faces, they should look like modern day folks. All hues of humanity, but no blue or green alien types.

    5. Well, less exposed muscleniness. Check.

    8. Point made moot by blanking out the facial features.

    Oh, and this:

Breechcloths, floor length split butt capes, and floor length thigh capes!!
  20. I thought we had this anti-matter discussion before. It's not until you can gather enough anti-matter particles into a anti-matter mass large enough to be seen with the human eye that you have enough anti-matter that if annihilated through contact with matter would release enough energy to be dangerous to nearby humans. So, it would take billions of anti-matter particles to get to a firecracker level of damage.

The article doesn't say how many anti-protons are caught in the Van Allen belt or their density... since the VAB is freakin' huge. It could contain trillions of trillions of anti-protons in the VAB and it's density would still be so rarefied, it would be as if they weren't even there.

Then just try to collect them...

Hey they hooked all the ferry lines in COV and the helicopter.. they ever added additionaly heliports.

The idea to make travel simpler not to agonize over a name.
It's not a name. Ferries look like ferries. The Smuggler Ship looks like a non-passenger cargo ship. When they hooked up all the redside choppers and ferries, they didn't connect the ferries to the choppers. Getting on a ferry in Peregrine and winding up smuggled into Striga on a cargo ship doesn't make any sense.

I was one of the biggest pushers of a unified transportation redside, but I'm not on board (pun intended) to pretend a cargo ship is a ferry. I also tried real hard to get the Vanguard DPO to be in northern Peregrine, but that didn't happen.

Kill off Citadel and replace him with a portal that goes to Portal Corp square.
