Quote:I'm pretty sure the ticks are always the same. Higher recovery gives you more end per tick, not more ticks.Just tried it in game on an alt with 105 max end so I could be completely sure about it (activating Unstop, no toggles running, monitoring end) : it crashes to 0.
The best thing you can do is get as much recovery as possible, as the higher your recovery the faster you get end ticks. -
That was a direct result of them changing the drop rate on those items because the entire playerbase (well, the vocal minority, anyhow) screamed bloody murder about it.

Friggin' brilliant. I was having the same problem and this fixed it. Thank you!

It sounds to me like he's lost the association for a file with extension .exe, which could point to a corrupt registry or missing entry.

Was getting exactly this last night with an SG mate. I was the one with the older rig, his at least was running 30+ fps, but he was still getting 100% spikes on his dual core.
Mine is a single core and stayed at 100% the whole time and my framerate never went over 15 fps and was frequently 1-3fps.
We were using Skype, not Vent, but having similar problems in it.
Both of us turned off Ultra settings, but the CPU spike stayed. I'm wondering if this has something to do with the new sounds added to the environment. -

Also, anyone who is in their 20s or 30s and is still using TOs is a candidate for an AE baby, IMO. The fact those people ever even make it out of Atlas Park boggles me sometimes.

Quote:Agreed. They did exactly this in that "other" super hero game, and it was fine. Really, if you are so intent on the game that the travel power breaks your immersion, it might be time for a breif respite from the gameNo more useless than Super Jump over large bodies of water. All that is really required for the animation is a line going up into the sky. You can come up with whatever explanation you like for an anchor point.

I forgot about that, I love that change. I ran a Citadel TF the other night on my 41 Blaster and was auto-exemped to 30 the whole time and got bubbles and bubbles of sweet XP. Love it!

Leveling is easier than ever with the addition of Radio Missions, configurable mission options and Patrol XP. Teaming is not a problem for me on Virtue, but somewhat problematic on other servers, so it depends where you are.

Quote:You're like the Warren Buffett of the CoX market...which is both impressive, and frightening.I'm the guy buying at 300,000. I don't care what the price of salvage is at any point in time. It's truly more efficient and profitable for me to go about my usual market routine and pay whatever price salvage happens to be at any point in time. The time I'd spend writing salvage prices down could be spent doing more profitable enterprises.

I love my Fire/Shield, not so much my Fire/Fire. /Fire works great as a Tank set where you have higher base hit points, but I feel I little squishy as a scrapper.

Quote:Thank you! They are part of Going Rogue. You have to purchase the expansion in some way in order to access the powersets on the live servers.
If you do not purchase Going Rogue, then you do not get Dual Pistols or Demon Summoning. At all.
(At least, not in the foreseeable future... maybe 2-3 years down the road, they'll give Going Rogue to every subscriber the same way they did when they made both CoH and CoV accessible in 2008 if you had an existing account for one or the other.) -
OK, I did not read the whole thread, but I did read quite a bit and I still don't know - are Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning part of I17, or part of Going Rogue? I don't care about the pre-order early access, I want to know if we (ultimately) get the powersets as a free issue upgrade, or if we have to pay for them.
Anyone know the answer? -
People still use TOs and DOs? Have they not heard of IOs?

Quote:That is absolutely not true. Building an effective and endurance thrifty attack chain can be as simple as NOT mashing Shadow Maul every time it recharges, but there is more to it than just waiting for Rest. All I can see someone learning is that those levels suck and must be plowed through as fast as possible. Learning about endurance management consists of learning to wait for Rest to recharge.
I remember having lots of Endurance issues on my MA/SR scrapper, but none on my DB/WP. Of course, he was built in I1 and she was built in I13, so there are probably a lots of reasons why that is the case. -
Wow, this thread takes me all the way back to 2004. I can't believe we are still talking about this.
I'm pretty sure Positron said something to the effect that he would rather remove Endurance from the game entirely than give people Stamina earlier. Or maybe it was Castle, I don't remember. Someone with better search-fu than I can find it, I'm sure. -
