Utility for calculating attack chains?

Is there such a thing as an attack chain calculator utility? Where we coould put in the names of attacks...or at least manually enter the stats for animation time, arcanatime, and global recharge and the recharge in the power, and look for gaps and/or maximize dps? I've been sort of manually figuring with pen and paper, but if there's a better way, it would be nice to know.

I know there are some around, i recall seeing a web based one but it requires you to manually enter all data. That means it is always "up to date" though, since you are the one entering the data.

Just want to toss in this though: I never bother with attack chains but attack priority. This means I set my hot-bar sorted by DPAS. I accommodate hot-keys 1,2,3,4 to the highest dpas attacks in my build. After that I just click on them looking what has recharged, giving priority to use on anything that is to the left.

When I feel lazy to pay attention, i just spam tap 1234..1234..1234..1234..etc..etc..etc

The highest DPAS attack recharged will be the first one to activate this way resulting in the best dynamic attack chain for my current build and buffs.

Yeah, I thought there must be something...I Googled and found a few discussions but no actual calculator...and for some reason some Evony calculators, go figure.

Thanks for the advice.

Do those Evony calculators include some soft-core pics?

Global = Hedgefund (or some derivation thereof)

Doesn't Mids have something to help you figure this out?

Personally, I don't see the point and pretty much do the same as Starsman. The problem I see with working out an exacting attack chain is that at some point, probably more often than you want, you're going to end using your most powerful attacks against a foe with only a sliver of hps left. A big waste of power and end.

Dunno -- I was afraid to click on them. :P

You only end up doing that if you slavishly obey the chain at all times. Knowing a chain still has value when you know you have the headroom in foe health to execute the chain at least once. This is exceedingly common in fairly ordinary play - bosses, EBs and AVs all qualify, even if you're just fighting them with a team in missions or a TF. While not especially ordinary play, it's not exactly aberrent play to be faced with Hamidon, one of his mitos, or the level 54 mobs in a Rikti ship raid - especially the Rikti Magi.

Quite a few people use Umbral.

It's kinda hard to tell people how to do it explicitly since a lot of it involves things I've learned through experimentation with the individual sets in question and the mechanics overall.

I've yet to find any attack string calculators out there (and find the entire concept of priority lists in all but a scant few powersets laughably inefficient), but I'm working on one of my own. I've already gotten most of the design down, so, if this summer is as productive as I hope it will be, it should be done soon(tm).

The builder before Mid's (SherkSilver's Hero/Character Builder) had an attack chain planner, but there's nothing in Mid's that does this specifically.
