O.O
okay weird. I was cutting up a tomato for my salad lunch, and thought to myself, "beefheart. Captain beef-heart. Not bee fart."
.... I had not seen this news.

I'm glad that even though the very business seems to be against you in that country, you stuck with it and had fun anyway! Some day hopefully things will smooth between NC and Level Up, or perhaps, level up will just GO AWAY. It seems to be the source of too many problems for South American players.
-
It was insanely challenging for me on my kin/electric brute at level 23. But, eventually... I did finish it. I cannot even imagine how hard it would be with some of my other characters. I'm very glad I didn't hang up and quit it at the last mission.
I only rescued about half the police, which I felt very bad about. But then I ... could hardly find my way to the top of the cruiser and get *outside it* because like an idiot, I didn't actually walk to the EDGE of the first outside area (under all the scaffolding/supply stuff). DUR. When I finally did, I was like, OH okay.
And then CASTILLO. JEEZ.
... AND THEN and then. HURRR. I did at least get a level out of the mission arc, that's not bad at all. Even with all the damn debt from dying every other couple minutes to that damn last Zeus.
With a full tray of insps, it's doable, but maybe if I had more ranged attacks it'd have gone a little better.
But all in all, it was a superb arc, with an excellent story that fleshes out the events between Primal and Praetorian earths. Good work writers. -
I was really jazzed to learn that even though I got back online at 630 halfway through my dinner, I was still in time for the costume contest, and even more jazzed to see that I've still got it with Winter's True Spirit.
Also, I was laughing so hard when I saw my competition who won 2nd, I've never seen her around Paragon but obviously we had very similar ideas
*high fives Spirit of Winter* -
HAHAHAH hahah oh yeah, now THAT is what I kind of expected of an ecard from you
-
I totally have that Statesman's night tacked up on my bulletin board And, I have my adorable stocking hung up indeed by my computer LOVE them!
Got yours Arch, so cute, and I realized I had last year's sitting nearby also! -
Quote:The lakes froze over in the first Winter Event, in January 2005. That was fun. I played ice hockey with Hydra pucks in Perez Park, and pairs skating with a Devoured in Eden. It's too bad the devs haven't done that kind of thing since.
Yeah I loved this, I certainly wish they'd bring this back. -

Calendar'd!
Of course maybe not telling us all how much inf there is to be spent would be better to make sure slackers from other servers don't come pouring in out of nowhere and taking what's rightfully supposed to go to THIS one... o.o I mean, they can get their OWN prizes! -
Yeah of course I kept mine from last year!
.... I actually kept it HANGING UP in my front room because I was way too lazy to remove it and several others I got last year from this So now there are two. -
I got yours today too...
I strung it up next to last year's.
Does that mean I got you by the b.... o.o -
Protector is a little island of ... wait I can't say "sanity" because that is TOTALLY wrong.
But it certainly is my home away from reality, and that's what counts. -
Mine too

Quote:"3D" needs to die in a fire, and soon. It has ruined more good movies than I care to mention, and I shudder to think about it coming to games as a natively supported feature. I'm not just against this because it craps all over image quality and makes me cross-eyed. I'm against this because I hate the technology on principle and would hate to see it proliferated any further.
Indeed.
Until there is such technology which actually doesn't require eye bending/breaking 'tricks', there's no point. We don't NEED 3d. The game already IS 3d.
I don't know if you can do it in this game, but in many others which have a 1st person view, you can alter the field of vision percentage.
Keep fiddling with that until you're happy. But keep 3d out of a flat-screen vision game. -

I won't use any of the tech or game support for it, I loathe that kind of thing. I have enough vision problems without it.

COINCIDENCE? I think not. -
My domestic mail is going out today, though I have too much stuff to do in the house to get out to the post office for the overseas/canada ones, so they'll be monday.
I was a bit sad to see certain names not on the list, though. -
Quote:Half the posts in this thread, however, have been you and maybe 1 or 2 others complaining about the solutions offered by the wide variety of other folks. If I was the only one having this problem, we wouldnt have constant spam in RWZ and Ouro and we wouldnt have 330 posts.
So dont try to pretend its just me.
I just happen to be very good at finding problems and driving them into the ground with a piledriver.
The people asking for help in RWZ or Oro... are getting help. You apparently don't want that help, and that's why you keep insisting that the mission's so awful.
Down in the Protector threads, Janlee - a very fine player of long-term standing and a friend to everyone except his coworkers (lol) - is having trouble getting his defender through it. And while some of the comments are "dude what? we know you can do it" we are saying that knowing that the moment he asks for help in Jello Shooters, he'll GET HELP. Every one of us is willing to head over and help with these missions, because they ARE hard.
And?
Don't need a huge team. Don't really even need more than 1 person with you. It's just not that big of a deal if you simply accept the fact that You Are Told To Get Help, right in the mission description.
Help can come in many ways, too. Asking 'hey what if I ...' or 'need a tank/blaster/pocketkin now!' or whatever. Just... be willing to ACCEPT the help, when it's given. Otherwise, you're just making it way worse than it needs to be.
Fff, I used Amy's Ward on it... *headdesk* But still, survived just fine, waded through the portals and their spawns even after she was gone. Surprised me actually, once the two EBs are gone from the scene, you are essentially free to leave or stay... Darn shame those spawns don't give any inf or anything. -
Happy birthday!! I'd have seen this sooner except for the forum-boot bug!
*hugs*
