I use the Firefox add-on, Lazarus. I never lose anything I've typed. I can even search for stuff I posted that's been deleted from the forums.

1. Look cool.
2. Proof of concept.
3. Look cool. -
It used to be that /unloadgfx did a great job trimming the memory usage. But that stopped working over a year ago. Using it last night actually *increased* memory usage.

Just about every 'modern' vampire story gives the vamps ridiculous speed as if they were The Flash. With that power and a sword, any zombie horde would wind up headless. It's no contest.
The problem for the vamps would be hiding during the day and keeping the human population from becoming completely zombified. I can see a human-vampire alliance being made where the humans would enter fortified enclosures (or islands) and voluntarily be fed upon (not to death) to empower the vamps to go out at night and forage for food and cull the zombie population, hopefully, to the point of extinction. And there would, of course, be a lot of human-vampire hot carnal relations a la True Blood. -

Quote:Dear Zwillinger,Positron said that some people will have to be not working at Paragon Studios for the power slide to be made available on the Paragon Market.
Please go to that person blocking Power Slide from going to the Store and tell them these things:
1. The CoH CE is sold out. You can only get it from unusual, second-hand points of sale streams.
2. The CoH Collector's Edition is not like ordinary collectibles that grow in value and can be resold. Especially the digital product. Once you use the Serial Code, it is useless to anyone else. It *can't* be resold or traded. It is not a commemorative plate from the Franklin Mint.
3. Those few places that have it, have jacked up the price. And you see none of that increased revenue.
4. Because the remaining product is scarcer and scarcer and thus more costly; there is an increasing likelihood of unscrupulous people selling the box and it's components even though the serial code has been used. This will lead to angry customers bothering Support about why their serial code didn't work.
5. If you sell it in the Store, you get more money.
6. See #5, duh.
7. Zombie Man says that not selling it the store is dumb. Yes, use my name.
8. Tell that person, "Execute Protocol Orange Orange." Don't ask why, just do it. -
Try relogging. And before you reload the game, right click on City of Heroes in the Launcher and click 'repair files' and see if that fixes it.

Quote:I did Graves' arcs through Ouroboros last night before the hotfix. But I did experience some arcs in the O-list that wouldn't open up when clicked a few days earlier.Nobody know anything about this?
Woot! I found a new one
Hopefully this gets fixed in the fix tonight.
EDIT:- The hotfix did fix it, yay
This is likely an intermittent bug dealing with calling items from the Flashback Database. The solution so far has been "try again later." -
There were level 50 toons with Beam Rifle and Time Manipulation on my Underground Trials on Thursday night.
So... MARTy doesn't necessarily stop anyone from going from 1 to 50 in a day and a half.
Which means that if anyone is actually bumping into MARTy... no sympathy. Take a bio break, will ya? -
Did she now?...
Quote:But the main reason IO'm posting this is the above costumes. I'll snag a screenie when the servers are back up, but about three or so years ago, I made a very similar costume for the Triumph Carnival of Light's founding character (Festival) that looks almost identical to those. The exact same theme, anyway (jester pattern, white and shiny gold, etc...). While I very much doubt the devs peeked at that costume (LOL...), I have to say I'm feeling a bit like a prophet right now. -
If there is a space limit on keeping track of unfogging that has to keep being raised, this would be an excellent short term fix by reducing the number of zones in which unfogging is tracked.

Quote:This is mostly explained by the fact that the New Way of costuming factions is to use Player rigs instead of NPC rigs. This means using costume pieces that players have (or will have soon). So, NPC factions will look like stuff players make and vice versa (with the exception of a few signature pieces reserved for the faction or signature NPCs).While the much-expanded canon Carnival of Light story is different from the one we dreamed up in several ways
So, the Carnival of Light was made by a Dev using our player costume creator.
I look forward to their pieces that they're wearing that we don't have access to yet being released to us players.
And the new CoT pieces, too. -
Quote:If you take a level 14+ or higher to a Flashback Crystal and chose those arcs, it will set you to the highest level for that contact. Thiery in flashback brings you to level 7. So, that's his top range; don't know if his bottom range is level 1 (thru turning off XP) or higher. The two arcs leading up to him are also capped at 7.Does anyone know what the level ranges are for the new contacts in AP? I don't see it in the patch notes, just their names and descriptions.
Twinshot's first arc is capped at level 9. -
Quote:VIP customer service.I had this same problem for one of the new ouro arcs. GM_Marlin arrived quickly and not only had to auto-complete the mission, but the next one, too.
The response times for an in-game petition is much faster than it used to be years ago. I've never waited for more than 5 minutes the few times I've used them this past year and a half. -
Quote:Most likely this is an anti-RMT, anti-fraud limit.I have purchased two sets of paragon points since launch on my main ncsoft master account. Today I wanted to buy some more but I keep getting the online code purchase limits error: https://help.ncsoft.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/989
I don't get it. I used my paypal account for both transactions, I have my credit card set to the 400$ maximum limit. I can't use either to make the purchase without getting this error. Is their seriously a limit of only buying points twice or is this a bug? Anyone else encountering this? I petitioned but I doubt I'll get a response anytime soon. -
Quote:I see it on my Beta directory, but not the Live directory. I was about to test what would happen if I copied that directory to Live, but, the Live servers are now down.Really? I see no such... wait... hmm... Can anyone else confirm the existence of this folder? It may be that the default folder security permissions in win7 (and possibly other operating systems) aren't letting the game create this folder and contents, resulting in maps not retaining their explored state.

Quote:Don't forget: Ordinary crafting stations are in the RWZ base, too.Yeah, I noticed this too, figured it was intentional. I don't mind sitting in the university to craft/sell though.
Quote:You realize that would still come with the same problem of loading the market inventory onto the instance server, right?
I'm guessing we'd all do everyone a favor by accessing the Store from the character select screen rather than from within any instance in the game, especially if you plan to do a lot of shopping. -
Where did they get their Ph.D.s in Zombology and Vampirology?
-
Quote:Yeah, this is the page they need to take down from the web site if it's no longer an option in the account page (and stop advertising it on the Launcher).I remember that the "refer a friend" programme was discontinued, but I don't remember seeing an announcement regarding "invite a friend back", and it's still advertised on the main page and the NCsoft launcher. Yet the link is gone from the NCsoft account.
Either it's dead and then references to it should be removed, or it's alive and the NCsoft account page should be updated to support it. -
I'm going to create a MMO with a thousand levels and the End Game Content begins at level 5.

It's clear we're getting points for July, August, September, and Octember. The we'll get more in October, though, I wouldn't mind another grant for Septober.
