Eventually. God I get sick of 5th Column for a good long while after that mission...
  3. The Community Team rock. I will duel any cad that dares impune that

    New Zone

    No.

    Revamp > New 'shiny'

There are so many zones in game right now that NEED a layout overhaul (Look at the buildings in Paragon, for pity sakes. Have you EVER seen a building that looks like that? Have you ever seen a building with NO windows besides a prison block? Because thats what is apparently the norm in Paragon. And it looks HORRIBLE)

And don't even get me started on the content gaps. All the hazard zones Hero side are in dire need of content, and I can guarentee that the majority of people could be dumped in various neighbourhoods redside and have NO idea where they are, because they never get used.

'New shinies' has gotten really old now. Some spit and polish and revamping would go down really well about not.

The next cosmic challenge level: Somehow get GG to stop posting like she has inside knowledge, which she clearly doesn't!

Regen is good in PvP, that's about it. In PvE, every single mitigation set will outperform it when similar effort is put into it's build.

If you put 5 billion influence into both a Regen and a Willpower, the Willpower will blow the /Regens performance out of the water.

/Regen is the ONLY set that both A) has to seek defense and resistance from outside sources, via power pools and set bonuses and B) can have their primary means of mitigation completely stripped away by a LT class enemy. A SINGLE LT class enemy.
    Now you're making me want to re-roll my Kat/Regen as Kat/WP >_>
  9. /Signed. I like my Kat/Regen, but the status quo is kind of annoying at times. Especially the self-Rez problem
  10. This is City of Heroes, not City of Lewtcraft.

And I, amongst others, LIKE it that way.

Some sleeker, more high-tech looks would be nice too.

    Hello? Is anyone there?

    In popular comics, maybe.
    In City of Heroes? None.

The only oriental group are the Tsoo, who we've already established are Hmong Tsoo, and thus not Japanese.
To suddenly add this is in would be like adding in little green aliens from Mars, when we alread have the Rikti running around. It's a huge disconnect, and also has no links to anything in game so far.

Frankly, theres so much canon un-explored and unrefined that time should be spent on expanding that, not going off on a random, unrelated tangent.

Or make use of that shiny tech that Maelstrom uses and have it be reactive?

    Actually, thats a good point.

Take the chance to update Malta, Longbow and PPD...and give us the military parts while doing it. Two birds, one stone.

For a fanboy, that was an awesome episode. I'm not sure that non-fanboys got it, though.

(1 -- Yes, Batman beat Superman in that comic, but he had the help of Green Arrow, some Kryptonite, and a nuclear device.)
    Aha, beaten to it.

Dark Knight Returns was so much win...

Yo dog! We put a complaint in the complainin', so you can complain about the complainin' with a complaint!

  21. Well I know for fact the Steampack works in AE, due to going through and editing an entire NPC group with the packs.

Or, I recall in the past suggesting a 'Weapons Assault' set for dom that basically used Martial Arts, Pistols, Katana, Dual Blades, Archery and Throwing Stars all in one set but limited in that you can only use one type of weapon mix at a time. The 'Build up/Aim/Power Boost' of the set would be 'Equipment Change' which would create a burst of smoke + PBAoE minor placate and would recharge all your attacks instantly while equipping a new set of thematic weapon mixes.
More thematic? More thematic than a signature character who had a sword and a pistol?
More thematic than, say, every single army officer from the past who used to use a sword and pistol?

Revolver and sabre. Flintlock and half-hand katana. Modern pistol and energy-sword. Theres never 'just one theme'. What you consider 'more' thematic, others do not. And I assume that either version would require a chunk more animation work to not look a bit wierd.

  24. This is why I shouldn't post in the small hours of the morning...strewth.

Myeah, a mid-damage but huge KB attack on a GM could be quite cool.
Personally, though, I'd like some incentive to FIGHT the buggers again, other than those needed for an Acolade badge.

(Even testing Alphas build against them is more work than fun, due to whoever programmed their 'run away like a pansy' feature >_> Still managed to solo Scrapyard, after a long long time.)
  25. Halving it would be fine. 15 seconds is niether too long nor too short.
