Yes, for global unlocks, the item gets removed from the list after you buy it. You will then get certificate. The first time you select a certificate you can ask for a refund. If you claim the certificate, then the option to refund the item isn't available any more. On subsequent characters if you accidentally delete the certificate before claiming it, it will re-appear in the certificate list to be claimed.

Quote:I made a similar post on Monday:I was looking for this info and couldn't find it, so I gathered it myself on the Test server and here it is for anyone who may be wondering.
Hmm. I seem to have 1 more emblem than you do. You might have missed one.Quote:*Nothing converts to Empyrean Merits and the only thing that converts to Astral Merits are Empyrean Merits. So there aren't any ways, other than the trials, to get any of the following:
Ascension for 10 Astral Merits x 7 items. 70 Astral Merits.Quote:Astral and Empyrean Merit Costs
- Alpha Slot, Cape, and Aura Unlock Vouchers are now 5 Astrals apiece.
- Chest Emblems are now all 1 Astral apiece.
- Ascension Armor pieces are all now 10 Astrals or 3 Empyreans apiece.
- Ascension Radiance Armor pieces are all now 6 Empyreans apiece.
- Emotes are now all 10 Astrals or 2 Empyreans apiece.
- Costume Change Emotes are now all 3 Empyreans apiece.
- Auras are now all 10 Astrals or 2 Empyreans apiece.
- Path Auras are now all 3 Empyreans apiece.
- The Incarnate Thread Voucher for 1 Astral now grants 4 Threads when claimed.
- The Incarnate Thread Voucher for 1 Empyrean now grants 18 Threads when claimed.
Radiance for 6 Empyrean Merits x 6 items. 36 Empyrean Merits.
Emotes for 10 Astral Merits x 4 items. 40 Astral Merits.
Emblems 1 Astral Merits x 16 items. 16 Astral Merits.
Costume Change Emotes for 3 Empyrean Merits x 5 items. Empyrean Merits.
Auras for 10 Astral Merits x 8 items. 80 Astral Merits.
Path Auras for 3 Empyrean Merits x 6 items. Empyrean Merits.
This works out to 206 Astral Merits, 69 Empyrean Merits for everything without overlapping (ie. buying anything that uses Astral Merits with Astrals, and only buying stuff that costs Empyrean Merits that are exclusive to Empyrean Merits). By the way, at 3 merits/trial (which is what Lambda is giving out these days thanks to the bull-headed design choices) this works out to 69 Lambdas, run once per day.
Yes, all global unlocks. -

Thanks for the laughs.
Edit:
There goes my plans for getting a Wacom Cintiq.Quote:If your mouse has greater processing power than your gfx card, the answer is yes. -
Quote:I'm betting the IP in question isn't Marvel. The chainsword is a heavily used weapon in a certain futuristic battle game with space marines and orks. Said game system has been a tabletop game since 1987, and had a demo of their upcoming MMO last year. They've had countless spin-offs and you might say that they are a workshop of games. My first thought... "Tell that to Abslom Daak, Dalek Killer"
*one quick pass through the Internet later*
My second thought... "Why am I not surprised Marvel got their hands on him, even briefly?"

Quote:You can go to the RWZ at level 1. You likely wouldn't survive long, but you can. You can use this to do co-op team AE arcs.Yeah, the thirties are slow...when you hit 35 though you can go to RWZ.
However at level 35 you can enter Cimerora and start doing ITFs. If you get on a plow ITF you'll get a lot of experience. It might take 60-90 minutes but the extra xp will be worth it. -
Quote:It was convoluted, but you managed to answer the question anyway.Hopefully my answer wasn't entirely convoluted sounding in that case...and if it was...someone bring me more caffeine.
Aka, your "option 2".Quote:Zwill, asking on behalf of potential Premium players that no longer have access to the boards: Everything you've said above remains true, excepting if someone wishes to unlock a MM or Controller, yes? In that regard, what happens? They unlock it, but it remains unplayable? Or will the game not allow a Premium player to unlock a historic character that happens to now be a VIP AT. -

Can we at least hear the details of what they are doing before making suggestions?

There has always been a problem with the target/buff binds not always functioning.
The only way I've managed to get it working is along these lines (I use force field, but same principle applies):
ff0.txt:
Quote:ff1.txt:NUMPAD1 "teamselect 1$$bindloadfilesilent ff1.txt"
I put both files in the City of Heroes\Data folder so I don't have to define a loading path. And yes, it requires 2 key presses.Quote:NUMPAD1 "powexecname deflection shield$$bindloadfilesilent ff0.txt"
Edit:
Though I guess you could do this:
ff0.txt:
ff1.txt:Quote:NUMPAD1 "+ $$teamselect 1$$bindloadfilesilent ff1.txt"
And it might work with just a key press (you might have to hold the key for a second).Quote:NUMPAD1 "powexecname deflection shield$$bindloadfilesilent ff0.txt" -

Quote:Considering that the developers consider multiple incarnate powers a feature, not a problem, I'd say that you are stuck trying to overcome your OCD.So here's something the Devs probably never anticipated would be an issue or a desired feature, but for the sake of my mild OCD streak, I gotta ask...
No, because making multiple powers in a tree is considered a feature. You can't get rid of the "extra" power in any way. I could dig around for the developer quote, but pretty much your options are:- Live with it.
- Build it up.

Quote:You will not lose the free month. If it says that it is playable until July 24th, then you don't have to do anything until July 24th. You can still play to that date for free. July 24th is your next billing date.Wow I feel stupid, I accidently clicked cancel billing in my account management.
What can I do to revert this? Will I lose my free month?
It still says playable until July 24, if i just Subscribe again will I be fine?
If you want to continue to play AFTER July 24th, then yes, you have to subscribe again. -
Quote:The first would be a great change. For mission 3, the following should happen:1. Make Penelope a rescue, she then leaves and the Clockwork King is berzerk and attacks the team in his rage.
For Mission 3, there is one change that MUST occur: Infernia needs to STOP BEING SO CHATTY.
- Shut Infernia up.
- Eliminate the lead outs. Seriously it is a waste of time.
- Eliminate the failure criteria if either (or both) sisters die.
- Shut Infernia up.
- Reduce the number of hostages to recover.
- Reduce the size of the map by at least half. The second building floor makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Players enter the buildings on the ground floor, have to go into an elevator to another 3 floor building level to an underground Rikti Base. Just eliminate the building areas and have it fully in the caves.
- Same goes for the last mission as well.
- Oh yeah, and shut Infernia up. No one cares about her. If I could shut her up by defeating her, I would.

Quote:Okay, the two beams are Disintegration and Devastation. Given that Obliteration is closer to Disintegration than Devastation, yes, I meant the beam that eliminates a player. Are you talking about Disintegration? Obliteration hits for like 1500, hardly unsurvivable.
It still doesn't have a visual indicator that can be seen with 24 players firing off most of their powers, further hidden by the alpha and beta entanglements, with no indication who is the target in the team list or even flashed on the screen (ie no "X is being targeted by disintegration"). Add to that the time stop and power recharges, good luck saving the poor sucker that is the target. -
Then the mechanic of the obliteration beam needs to be changed. It will kill a player even if they have been healed several times during the beam attack, and it is difficult, if not impossible, to tell who the beam is targeting.

Best wishes EMpulse!

Quote:Hmm. That is a definition of the word "help" that I must admit to being completely unfamiliar with. They might "help" aggro mobs, they might "help" extend the time on the map by a large portion because their immediate objectives are to escort them out, and they might "help" to split up the team with said escort objectives.I don't really have an issue with the third mission as it stands. It's been some time since I've done Lady Grey, but I don't recall it being that tedious. Especially since you're given two helper NPCs to help blow through the map.
By letting them die, the mission can last 5-15 minutes (depending on where they are and how long it takes them to die). By escorting them out, that mission can be extended by as much as an 60-90 minutes (defeat all). That is time I can use to:- Sleep.
- Spend on another trial, TF, SF.
- Do something else in or out of game.
My benchmarks:- Speed LGTF - 40 minutes or less.
- Regular (extract Penny with Assemble the team & let the sisters die) - 40 to 80 minutes (usually around 60 minutes).
- Long LGTF - 80-120 minutes.
- Full Plow LGTF - 2+ hours.

Actually that one I do know about. I had 3 regular tips (no morality tips), the Halloween tip, and Kal's tip at the same time.
