Any way to delete a crafted Incarnate Power?

So here's something the Devs probably never anticipated would be an issue or a desired feature, but for the sake of my mild OCD streak, I gotta ask...

In the course of filling one of my character's Interface slots, I started crafting a second power in the tree, with the intention of eventually making two Tier 3 powers into one Tier 4. But now I've had a good look at the T4 in this particular case, and it doesn't really add anything I want. So I've got a slotted T3... and a spare, superfluous, extraneous, useless and bothersome T2. And I can't get rid of it.

I've tried right-clicking on the unwanted power from the master Powers list, the list of powers available to slot in Interface from the Incarnate Abilities list, the Create tab/tree, and even the Convert tab (unfortunately, "Uncommon - Breakdown" only lets you break down uncommon components, not Incarnate abilities ).

I'd really rather not grind for another V Rare just to get rid of an annoying burr of a redundant power. Can anyone give me another solution?

I don't *think* there is a way right now. Don't recall if mention of breaking it down was "something coming" or just a suggestion.

If the extra tier 2 is in the opposite tree, it's really not superfluous. The sides give different benefits, and there might be some scenarios where swapping them might be beneficial. Just throwing that out there as a way to use both and not be too bothered by the extra.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

I guess I have trouble seeing having an extra power as something that needs to be addressed. Just... don't use it?

Ask a GM to remove those guys are pretty good after a lot of trial grinding I was super tired and I accidentally crafted clarion (I thought I got barrier) and upgraded it to tier 2 core I didn't notice my mistake until the next time I logged in. I petitioned it and the gm took it away and gave me the tier 2 core barrier I thought I crafted instead.

I'm sure they wouldn't mind accomodating your ocd and if you happen to want that tier 4 later well you have to grind out a tier 1 and 2 again. No big right?

As far as the clutter is concerned you don't even see it unless you go into that power and look at the stuff you can slot instead so alternatively you could stop going into your I powers to admire them

Considering that the developers consider multiple incarnate powers a feature, not a problem, I'd say that you are stuck trying to overcome your OCD.

No, because making multiple powers in a tree is considered a feature. You can't get rid of the "extra" power in any way. I could dig around for the developer quote, but pretty much your options are:
  • Live with it.
  • Build it up.

Also, delete and rebuild the character from 0.

Okay, so that's a little extreme....

I'd say build it up anyway.

Even if it doesn't add anything, it should be stronger for it.

Seppuku is an honourable option.

I don't recall there being a way to completely get rid of it but there are at least 10 slots showing for crafted powers .. in each power tray. So technically, if you wanted to waste that many threads and components, you could have a tier 4 for numerous options.. Alpha.. cardiac, Muscular, ect and still have slots left for tier 3s.

About the only one that won't continue to hold true for is Lore once 20.5 hits and we get the additional pet options.. But Judgement has 4 types of powers to slot so 4 tier fours, same with Alpha, Destiny and Interface. Each has 2 very rare options so technically you could have 8 very rare (tier 4's) slotted per power and still not be totally out of room.. plus who knows how many you can actually slot? I know I have no desire to use up that many threads and components i may need later when new powers arrive.

There is an option to remove a power from the tray on the screen where you actually load the power into its slot so it works but I have NO desire to test that out and have to start over crafting just to clarify your question. Unless it really BUGS you just ignore it. if it does petition and MAYBE they will do something about it for you... Never hurts to ask

You can craft as many as you want, even with the new Lore options. Since Empyreans and Astrals were 1 Inf per to buy on Beta while testing Issue 20.5, I went a little overboard and just crafted every single Incarnate power that there was, Very Rare, Rare, Uncommon and Common, filling up every tree in every slot. They were all there in the Equip tab, with scroll bars to select them.

I did petition, and they were kind enough to fix it.

"Remove from Tray" just takes it out of any on-screen power trays (where you can click on it to activate it), but does not delete the ability.

I've done similar myself. I'd like to be able to delete them even if I can't break them down. A little OCD myself and I'd really rather not see them. I made a mistake, let me get rid of it even if I've wasted the components. At least a t2 only used common and uncommon and I've got warehouses filled with that junk anyway.
