Quote:VIP to Preem:Wait....let me see if I'm understanding this right. I pick which characters to play, locking out the others. When/if I sub back up....I -lose- those characters in favor of empty slots?
- everything locks down. You are given X server slots, which you can choose to spend on empty slots to make new characters or unlock existing characters. EATs may require additional market purchase to unlock, but probably not.
Preem to VIP:
- everything locks down. You are given 12 + X server slots which you can choose to unlock whichever characters/empty slots you want. -
So, I have a question for the OP.
How come you post something once as a suggestion in the guise of a question (or at least, with the word "question" in the title, even if the contents were never questioning anything)...and get an overwhelming response of "Standard Code Rant" and/or "I wish but it'll never happen" and/or "no"...
Then three days later post pretty much the same thing and think you'll get a different response?
(PS; the Suggestions & Ideas forum is down a few from here.) -

Not to mention it'd mean the global flags that start/end the various events would have to be completely recoded so that that content is always available. *shudders* That sounds horrific.

Quote:Just to note there is no level 20 requirement anymore. A brand new VIP player can create an EAT as their very first character. The epic archetypes are Peacebringers, Warshades (for heores), Arachnos Soldiers and Arachnos Widows (for villains). They used to unlock when you got a character to level 50, but I think they changed it to level 20. Free players can't unlock them at all unless they buy the unlock from the market, VIPs still unlock them as normal.

They're special archetypes. They are not "epically powerful", so a lot of people get disappointed by that. They are epic in that they have a storyline attached to them that is supposedly 'epic'. The Kheldians (Hero EATs) actually do have a fairly epic storyline. The Soldiers of Arachnos (Villain EATs)......well, let's just say they don't and leave it at that before I start ranting. -
The PlayNC maintenance was from 10pm to 2am PDT. Not 10am to [sometime after 3pm] PDT.

Just FYI, they're in the Character tab, not the Account tab. Account tabs can be claimed once by every character on the account. Character items can be claimed once, one at a time, by one character.
@Sinister: Probably tons of Super Packs. -
Yep. That's how I got my PVP zone time badges ages ago. Set myself up on a task force, run into a PVP zone, die horribly and lay there online while I went to sleep in meatspace. (Yes. I was one of those people who, for five hours on each character, ruined your bounty in Siren's Call. )

Premiums can access anything not under Regular Contacts on the Night Ward article. That's why the flag is only under Regular Contacts. If Night Ward as a whole was VIP, the flag would be at the top.
You can click on the contacts names and it'll have a flag up top that indicates VIP. If it doesn't have the VIP flag, it's not VIP. -
Four+ hours later from your first post, and you're still flagged VIP. Maybe they just want more rude tells from ya.

Unlicensed (e.g. illegal) merch. Not authorized. Expect it to disappear soon.

My first character was a stalker. I got her all the way up to 15-17 or so before I figured out (accidentally! by placing the wrong enhancement in an empty slot) you could slot more than one enhancement of the same type in a power. I was totally the Jill of all trades.

Yes, best bet is to PM Zwillinger, Freitag, or Hit Streak. They're the community management team.

The pics didn't get those threads/posts deleted (well, most of them - some of them were this side of porn). There was commentary that came with it that did. It was gross.

The devs are misnaming it - it's an attuned enhancement set. It's not an invention because free players cannot use inventions - but they can use attuned enhancements, which is what Overwhelming Force is.
-
It's 5% regen and 3.13% recovery per enemy in range, with a lower than average tohit check (65% vs normal 75%). Adding heal and endmod enhancements to it aren't going to help much. Better to put them in Health and Stamina, which are constant (and bigger) buffs.

Quote:Your personal anecdote is counteracted by my personal anecdote where nothing untoward has ever happened for me when using PayPal. And I've used it a LOT, since 1998 or so.I want to tell you that years ago, about three to six months after NCSoft added PayPal I started using them to pay for my sub. It went fine for a while then for some strange reason, that neither NCSoft or PayPal could determine. My payment would go through like normal. But about a couple of weeks later the payment that went to NCSoft boomeranged right back into my PayPal account. It happened more than once, that almost caused me to get perma banned for non payment.
So I have been paying with game time cards since then. But now I see that I will probably have to use prepaid debit cards to add time to my account.
I have never trusted PayPal for that or any other payment again. -
Quote:Turbans are common in desert areas where people are trying to keep the sun off their heads. I suspect you have never been to a desert or seen a clip/movie about people in the desert or read an article about people in the desert...The thing about the Turban is it's a religious symbol (of Sikhism). CoH tries to avoid religious symbols, although that prohibition has declined recently.
Either that or you are deliberately not including the valid use of a turban that has nothing to do with religion. But you couldn't possibly be disingenuous on the internet. That never happens!
