There are several threads discussing the enhancement boosters. In certain cases, they are noticeable improvements to performance. They can make two IOs almost do the work of 3 IOs (mostly due to ED cutting down the performance of the third IO). This can free up a handful of enhancement slots to be slotted elsewhere.
It would be like being able to slot another 3-5 extra enhancements. -

Foes which can't attack, or, are losing hp rapidly and their attacks aren't landing are 'demoralized' and they run. It's part of their AI. It's the bane of debuffers.

A note on anchors:
1. Target the furthest lieutenant because your teammates will focus on bosses and the closest lts first, and minions drop too fast.
2. If your team is killing the spawn so fast that an anchor power doesn't seem to matter, then stop using it, because it doesn't matter. Save it for EBs and AV class foes or for spawns that are taking a while to kill. -
You can monitor your end buffs and see if they're working or not. If they're working, then you don't have enough EndRedux in your powers.

Quote:Yes, there's this, which should be explained to newbies.Explain that mission completion XP dwarfs any XP that trickles in when killing everything, and pretty much only the most stubborn XP-addicts will refuse to stealth some to make things less tedious.
Also, if you allow the other members to kill stuff while the stealther is stealthing, then you can make the point to the newbies that they're still getting the same, if not more because of the mission complete, XP over time.
Also explain that if you treat everything as a kill-all, then this becomes a 2 - 4 hour TF, which causes people to drop out as you go because many people don't have that free time-block for gaming. And when teammates drop out, then overall XP over time drops out as team synergies weaken.
And if a TF is done quicker, then the Merits over time ratio goes up since they can get more TFs done in a shorter period.
So, it is a fallacy that speed-TFs 'hurts' XP. But that being said, I do fully and heartily agree that the one advertising for a TF should advertise if they're not doing it 'the standard way.' If they're Speeding or doing it at Higher Difficulty or doing a Masters version, that should be advertised in advanced. Those who don't, are just downright inconsiderate. -
Igneous have always been immune to Lava damage.

Given that this forum is already on its second page of threads... seems to be working out.

Sure thing. Highlighted part...
Quote:I've been taking some notes:
- General consensus is, fairly obviously, don't consolidate the AT forums. Message received, loud and clear .
- Many suggestions to consolidate the PVP forums, some dissension.
- Many suggestions to do away with the Player Events section, however not the calendar functionality.
- Many suggestions to do away with the SG/VG recruitment section.
- Many suggestions to consolidate the EU/Oceanic section, however sentiment has been expressed to not completely do away with it.
- Plenty of suggestions to do away with the Mac forum, however I'm not in favor of this as there are Mac issues which are unique to the Mac client.
- I would like to take a second look at guides. I feel as though there definitely needs to be something done to encourage more guides to be produced, especially in light of all the new and returning players that will be coming into the game. I'd also like to find a way to make build sharing more visible and encourage more players to share their builds on an active basis.
- Some general suggestions on reorganization of the forums so that the structure makes sense.
Thanks for the continued discussion all. We're paying attention and appreciate you working with us to improve the forum Feng Shui. -
Nope, that's not new. It's the Deadly Apocalypse which does run regularly during the Halloween event and then sporadically throughout the year.
It should become much more popular this year now that Leagues can be formed and you can coordinate four teams at the four banners. -
Google Fight!
- Prowess: 18 million
- Prowress: 100 thousand
- Defuse the bomb: 1.8 million
- Diffuse/difuse the bomb: 150 thousand

Oh, well. Maybe Gunslinger next week.
I'm still going to keep my eyes peeled for a Halloween Event test run this Thursday... -
The first time they all just gathered around me doing nothing since I was stealthed. The second time you can hide out trembling with Percy and let the NPCs handle it. The third time, they're as difficult as gearlings. This is the blueside version. If anyone complains about these ambushes... well, L2P comes to mind.

I just threw out my collected works of Sophocles, Shakespeare, and Steinbeck since they're just full of Tropes.

Well, the half-day and five-times-a-week downtimes have ended. So, empirically, it has gotten much better. So, as things improve.... why is there an outcry as if this is brand new?

Quote:Too early for Halloween Event. I'm guessing:I don't think the SSA goes live tomorrow. I'm betting the Halloween trail goes live tomorrow. There's a live server publish scheduled for the morning and my gut says it's the holiday event.
If we aren't getting mission content tomorrow I hope we get those AT only IOs. I just bought to many clothes these past couple weeks, I'm hoping it something other then a costume bundle.
- Tuesday, 10/11 will have Gunslinger on sale.
- Thursday, 10/13 will be a limited Halloween test on Test
- Tuesday, 10/18 will be the new SSA
- Thursday, 10/20 the Halloween Event will go Live

Quote:Intent does matter. To prove to you that intent matters, you have, in what I have just quoted above, continued to mischaracterize that intent and criticize the action based on that falsely presented intent.Doesn't matter what the "intent" was.
An Administrator said that talking about Connect 4 is not allowed nor the strategies therein. Despite how vastly little talking about Connect 4 would impinge on CoH.
Portraying these rules as the Devs being afraid that a discussion of a board game is going to impact people paying for CoH is one of the dumbest things I've read on these boards. Which is a very high mark to cross.
