annoying critter AI, don't recall this

I hadn't played for a couple years, but MMs were my favorite AT. So far I've played 4 new ones since coming back, and when fighting with 3 of the 4 (2 demon and 1thug), enemies are constantly just running for the hills, regardless of their debuffs, or what secondary powers I'm using.

Is this normal?

It's quite annoying to have my pets run off and agro other enemies because of this.

I have noticed this, too. Especially, when the target has a strong debuff applied. I have seen longbow officers run like bystanders from Godzilla when Darkest Night is put on them.

not just happening to MMs, I've noticed a big increase in mobs fleeing when on my Night Widow. It seems as though their AI has been changed to incorporate debuffs as well as dots to make them run off - and it also looks as if the distance they can run has increased as well. It wouldn't surprise me if they ran to a different zone, if it wasn't for them being in an instanced map

And of almost ranged soft capped blasters soloing...Whatever doesn't die to my Rain of Arrows / Fistful of Arrows / Exploding Arrow is running like someone just murdered their friends and is trying to get them too...
