I am Lord Omi. Now and forever. They can take our City, but they can't take me.

Seriously? I was going out of my mind trying to find some association with backwards or reverse or left or SOMETHING... I got the "marker" part long before I'd figured out that the Williams made a square, but why'd you write "Sharpie" backwards to begin with then? -_-

Too easy when I spelled it forwards?

Thank you for spelling it out, ChristopherRobin. When I first saw the answers (no where close to my mulling) in the post I scrolled up and still couldn't figure it out. Then I read the rest of your post and finally could see how to arrive at the answer.
You're welcome.
Glad to have one finally stump our puzzle pro's for a little while.

Yes but please no posting the puzzle answers in thread. As I mentioned above this will just cause problems.
If you were to get say both answers but missed a single word (like marker in the previous puzzle) someone else
who has no clue how to solve the puzzle can come along and just correct what is wrong with your answer and win.
I'd rather not have people combining answers then fighting over who gets the win because they were first to solve most of it.

Luckily a correct guess came in just before you posted.

Hehe, as soon as I saw this, I sent in Healix's answer on Healix's behalf. I wondered if someone had sent it in earlier than that post anyway.
All good... I just figured I'd try and make that entry official and make life easier (not make you have to disqualify and reward someone else).

Again, great job on these puzzles.

Thank you for your kind deed, Knight...I would have loved to have my little Healix immortalized in an awesome art piece. I never have won anything, so thanks for your effort!

There are more artz to give away yet. The event has passed but the art yet trickles in. Look at all the coXso threads and posts after Sunday.
I will probably have to declare moratorium at some point this weekend I really want to wrap this up and spend more time working on my 3 prizes.

Thought I would go ahead and explain this one as well since it stumped a fair number of people.

-----------------
Upon my platform I patiently await (blue steel stands on a platform at the top of a staircase)
for evil to arise so I can regulate (he was part of the supergroup The Regulators)

for past transgressions I have wept (accidentally killed a man)
before a currency that none accept (he's in front of a large coin but the games uses influence)

Standing tall though I wear no cape (literal; he has no cape)
Monster I created but cannot escape (the man he killed became the brain in a jar monstrosity the Clock King )

Across an expanse so sublime (the psychic plane)
Haunts me whenever I notice the time. (you notice the time when you look at a "clock")
----------------

I may try another of these if there is interest.

Ooooh, neat! I missed half the references in there for Blue Steel's backstory, figuring they were just purple prose.

Yes, please, it would be fun to see another one!

Is the screenshot "guess the location" or is there a puzzle within the screenshot?

Posted

Man, I can barely contain my excitement!

How many guesses do we get, or how often can we make guesses?

Posted

The number guesses are once per hour per person, the puzzles have no such time restrictions.
People can keep guessing until someone gives me two correct answers.
The only thing is don't post the answers in the thread please, PM them to me.

DING! We have a winner!
Congratulations to Usershadow7989! You are the first *and only* person to correctly solve both puzzles.
Though the answer for number two is not in frame everything needed to solve it was.

1. Shadow Ravenwolf (forumite)

2. DD is pointing at "The 5th Column"

Let me know the name of the character you want drawn by Lexi and I'll get you a prize verification number.

Aww, and I thought my answer was a stroke of genius. Nice one, CR.
