The REAL real reason.....
This made me smile.
I can find no fault with this logic.
Well played.
Giggity, giggity! Awlllriiight!
I wonder what it's like to be a super hero.
I wonder where I'd go if I could fly around downtown.
From some other planet, I get this funky high on a yellow sun,
Boy I bet my friends will all be...stunned, they're stunned !

Thank you for the much-needed laugh!
I wish it were truly that simple to save our game.
........wh
why
why is this even a thing
"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill
We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...
The thought of a 'Family Guy'-based MMO existing makes me weep uncontrollable tears and despair for the human race in a way that the cancellation of CoH never could.
Congratulations, you have won a cupcake and a glass of wine.
That's good, right?
to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!
Yeah. Could be worse though. Haven't heard anything about a My Little Pony Online or Justin Bieber Online so...

That's right friends, I have uncovered the REAL reason CoH is being shut down. And here it is:
At this point you're probably thinking, "Hey stupid, how the hell could Family Guy Online (currently in open beta) possibly effect NCSoft's decision to shut down CoH?" Well, I'm about to tell you! Family Guy is set in the fictional city of Quahog, Rhode Island. CoH is set in the fictional city of Paragon City, Rhode Island. Do you see now? Both games are set in Rhode Island! On hearing about the emminent release of Family Guy Online NCSoft executives took a look at a map of the USA and saw just how small Rhode Island is. They quickly concluded that the MMO market could not possibly support two games set there. Knowing that FGO was an inevitable juggernaut of a game they decided then and there to pull out of the Rhode Island market before CoH was utterly crushed under the feet of Seth MacFarlane's behemoth IP. Now you know the REAL reason, so spread the word. Perhaps Matt "Positron" Miller could agree to retcon CoH and place Paragon City in Maryland. Then NCSoft wouldn't be so threatened by the upcoming Goliath of a game. /tinfoilhat |
lmao.

Goodbye may seem forever
Farewell is like the end
But in my heart's the memory
And there you'll always be

@pax parabellum
So I should be able to keep playing City of Villains then. That is, until a Bermuda based MMO comes out.
Where are the Rogue Isles anyway? For some reason I'm thinking off the east coast of the US, similar to where Bermuda is, but north some. Is there something in the canon about where they are?
Global = Hedgefund (or some derivation thereof)
