Feeler for Unofficial NY/TriState Area Meet & Greet (Before November 30)

Hey everyone... this is being typed rather impromptu and is just a feeler and declaration that I would absolutely love to spend some time with anyone and everyone that could make it to a party, meet and greet, rally, fun time in the New York area (I'm thinking New York City, but it could easily be in NY, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, possibly Massachusetts)... I imagine that several different meet and greets could spawn from this discussion (at the farther reaches of each of those states, plus others, I am sure... like the DC/Maryland gang that I didn't get to meet up with last time).

New York City would be good, as the people from the city (who may have no cars) could get there, as opposed to most of the other locations.
Still, anything and everything is open for discussion. If it gets too whacky, I'll start making decisions and just invite people, but I'd rather talk, discuss and see what we can figure out together.

Possible bigger goal... it could be great to arrange multiple CoH Community parties around the world on the same date... maybe skype in with each other and connect!

Bottom line, I would love to get together, meet, talk, have a good time with so many of the people of our community that I know live near here (I'm in New York).

No creepiness, we're all family here and I know I won't stand for any negativity!! So, do not be scared to attend, no matter who you are!

Would love to see those I've met in Boston and NY previously... and so many more who I haven't met before.

While smaller get-togethers often go more easily and can be more affordable... I'd love to have a really huge bash, to be honest. We'll see what discussion and feedback leads to though.

P.S. I'd also love to head out west for one big HeroCon-ish M&G some time. Given the situation and the fact that I think I could swing it right now... I'd be able to fly over for it (with enough warning). Especially if I could swing a paying gig while I'm over there!

ANYWAY... First Focus: NY AREA MEET AND GREET - Who would like to be in on that??

I'm about 40 minutes outside Albany and might consider going down to the city for something like this.

Also, if anyone from Paragon Studios will just happen to be in the New York area any time soon, PLEASE let us know and we can arrange the date around you!!

I know that is not likely, but I just wanted to mention it just in case.

I'm a train ride away from NYC.

With the forums and all of us being in this state of crazy right now, it can be difficult to keep track of everything.

I've lurked for years but... heck, I'm 15 minutes outside of the city.

If held within the city it would by 1st event ever to meet people outside of the game in the flesh.

I am in northern VA, but would possibly come.

If there was one closer, I would definitely attend. I am visiting Rochester (RIT, actually) and would be willing to stop by and tell you that I totally love you, Electric-Knight, just for your avatar.

I live in Queens. I'd show up if it looked like there would be anyone I know......

I'm in NJ. I'd try my best to go.

I am in Arizona, but given enough time and warning, I probably can and will make sure I can attend such a gathering. My biggest regret in my CoX-playing career is never making it to Hero-Con, M&G's, Player Summits or anything of that sort.

Is it wrong that every time I see the phrase "TriState area" I hear Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz?

I'd be in, as long as I can get out of work. I know date and time hasn't been decided, but I guarantee I'll be scheduled to work whenever is chosen. I always am whenever something cool is going on.

I live in Orange County NY (just a train ride away... well an hour long one but eh), been a lurker for a long only popping my head into a tread on the really rare occasion. Not that Im anti-social I love meeting new people.

New York Comic Con is in October. That seems like the perfect place for a meet up.
