    Late arrival here... and I'm afraid I'm not very emotionally scarred or torn up inside. So I don't feel right trying to speak on the level that you have been here, or even pretending to understand (really I've been quite lucky with my upbringing). But let me just say after reading through your posts here, thank you for sharing. I hate that someone could be so conflicted, and right now I really just want to give you a great big hug. Seriously, I'm very upset that you're probably a few hundred miles away right now.

    I generally take things in stride. I was pancaking sad when I read the CoH announcement, and I've been in semi-denial ever since. But until this thread I was never angry about it. This game was just silly entertainment for me, to kill some time and relax... but it's been so much more for you. And I am angry that it's being unfairly taken away from you.

    I sincerely wish you nothing but the best.

  11. It makes sense. Having Procs Per Minute work on the base recharge rather than the actual recharge value being used never made much sense to me. I guess it all depends on how much the PPM values are going to be upped.

    The first thing I thought of when I read the changes was how this would change the Stalker ATO Proc, which was stated to be WAI going off 100% in Assassin Strike. I don't think that should change.

  13. Hey all, I just made my first new character in a long while. I've been playing my upper level guys for the past month or so after taking a break from the game for a bit, so I made a Praetorian controller, and decided to go to the Isles. At level 24 now, there really aren't many people around to team with at all. There are people scattered about, but the team that I was able to find was at level 40, and really not very good.

    I don't have a Supergroup right now due to my break from the game, so until I find a good one it's PUGs. Will I have the same problem if I switch to a Hero, or are more people playing blue side at lower levels?

  16. Not technically my first controller, but my first in the past few years. I searched through the first 15 pages here and didn't see a thing on Plant/Rad, so I'm just wondering what sort of advice you guys might have on how to build and use it. Any completely skippable powers or anything else I should know about?
  17. I'm doing a complete rebuild of my Rad/Kin corruptor who I've gotten away from playing but want to go back to; his build is ancient and slotted entirely with common IOs right now.

    I made the build going for capped S/L defense (it's at 45.5% as-is), perma-hasten (thank you Spiritual Core Paragon), and most importantly, as cheap as possible. I don't have billions of inf to dig into for this build, so I went as low as possible for the prices. Really, the 4 LOTGs are a luxury I'm going to spring for

    Thanks for any advice.

    Boss Ambush

    I searched and found a thread from a while back saying this couldn't be done, but with all the changes to the MA I thought I'd ask again, to be sure.

    I'm trying to get a single boss to spawn as an ambush when the main boss of the mission gets to 1/2 health, but no luck so far. The best I can do is spawn another boss fight when the main boss gets to low health, but it's usually out of sight range and certainly doesn't run in to the rescue like I'd want. I don't see any options to make it possible, but wondered if anybody figured out any tricks to get it to work.
  19. What does SLI not being supported mean? If you have two GTX 260s in SLI will ultra mode not work at all, or will you just not see a benefit from the SLI? (As in, would it just be like a single 260)

  22. My SS/EA build sucks down End like there's no tomorrow. I unfortunately need energy drain for the refill every time it's up. It's because I'm built for softcapped defense to S/L/E/F/C, and to do so I run 7 toggles constantly. Even with a decent amount of EndRedux in all of my attacks, my net end recovery is less than 1End/Sec, with a nice Rage crash thrown in.

    It's bad


    My build is actually so tight I'm not sure how I'd fit in the heal I'd LOVE /EA to get, I literally have NO powers I can remove... (Why does weave have to come after tough?)

    I use energy drain so much already though, I'm not sure I want to rely on it even more. That means that if I want the extra def/res from energy drain, that means I might need to use it when I don't neccesarily need to refill my end. This, i think, would lead to the power being down with much more frequency when I need it for it's intended purpose, recovering End.


    I dunno, just seems like we should be adding/fixing a bad power rather than improving an already good one.

    Really, all I want is to combine the passives and add in a self heal. Would be delicious, although I don't know where I would fit it into my build, because building an /EA for softcapped defense leaves very little room to maneuver.

    Was just noticing this last night. Fighting a bunch of family solo, every single fight the Capo Lts. would turn and bolt the instant the fight started.

    Extremely irritating.
