THB's SUPER SECRET WARSHADE BUILD!

This is a build that I've been asked about more times than I can count.

I once had someone resub, specifically to be able to send me a tell to ask me about my Warshade's build.

Honestly, I don't blame them.

This build is the end result of all of the hours upon hours of respecs, trial and error, and seemingly infinite testing that I've put into my Warshade.

Some specs on the build, before you look:

-Perma Eclipse- Harpcapped res to everything w/ 5 targets.

-32.5% Defense to all positions (small purple from the softcap... To EVERYTHING. )

-High end ST DPS (G Well>Blast>Drain>Blast- Enough to solo a lvl 53 AV at the very least, without pets or temps.)

-The best AOE a Human Warshade could hope for- Competing with the best practical spawn clearing speeds that ANY Warshade could hope for if we ever got crashless Quasar.

-The best Crowd Control available to Warshades- Nothing to sneeze at.

-Includes Provoke and t4 Melee Hybrid, for a taunt aura and constant aggro generator.

This is my ULTIMATE builld. It's a Tankiblaster Domshade, and I love it to death.

I love the build just as much as the character I use it on, who is my main. So try to keep that in mind when you think about why I didn't release the build until now.

I am a Mac user and thus try not to look at windows programs. I will download and use mids just to look at this build However this will be after the end of the world. THB I understand the love of this character. My recent WS Prima Nocte has just hit 44 (highest so far) and I do not wish to copy any builds, however I have seen a few others completed builds in action and wow...definately an EPIC AT. Good luck to all khelds as they move across the multiverse to save other planets and people. Your posts have been great THB and I am sorry you have had to release the build in these circumstances.

Haha, I'm glad you liked it GR.

Also, I should've mentioned in the OP- Big shout out to Microcosm. He helped me develop a lot of the ideas that ultimately went into this build, and I flat-out stole his ST chain. In my defense though, I'm pretty sure most people did.

Micro I would love to finally get a look at your builds if you're still monitoring the Kheld forums.

A nice build indeed, however I wouldn't enjoy playing without CJ. The loss of manoeuvrability wouldnt make it worthwhile the effort of slotting

I have to say I've never seen Combat Jumping placed on such a threshold by anyone, lol.

For me the primary purpose of that power is a LOTG mule and a bit of defense.

It's really too bad you couldn't, say, switch out a power for another power in that build. Like combat jumping instead of provoke. Well, I guess it's useless then.

Sad thing is I didn't really get into Warshades until about a month ago and had an absolute blast leveling one to 50, only to hear it's all going down a few weeks after.

Now if i24 could roll out and "fix" everything like they say it would have....

For some reason, when I open your build the sixth slot on Dark Detonation is empty. Can you fill me in on what you have there? Is it the OverWhelming Force Kb-Kd proc to keep things from flying away?

Thanks again for posting. I have a few questions for you from a guy who has always loved MFing Warshades, but has consistently run into issues when trying a human only build....

1.) What's your strategy for handling endurance issues? With all those toggles running, it doesn't take long at all to start dropping toggles as the endurance plummets rather quickly. Are you just basically constantly using Stygian Circle? How about when you are in longer fights (as with an AV or such)...how do you get that endurance back in situations like that?

2.) What about all the mez issues that Human Form Warshades have been infamous for having to deal with? LUCKILY, toggles such as Tough, Weave, etc don't drop anymore when mezzed, but Inky Aspect and Orbiting Death do... and regardless of if they are up or not, it's always irritating to be standing there mezzed just waiting for it to run its course.

3.) I noticed you went with Agility as your Alpha choice...that definitely helps with the recharge and defensive numbers. I also see you went Reactive as your Interface. Can you speak a bit to your Incarnate choices (including ones not shown such as Destiny and Lore?

First of all, I built enough recovery to curb my stygian circle usage. I use SC an average of once per 8 man spawn to keep my end where I need it. 1-2 targets every 4 cycles through my attack chain is more than enough, as a rough estimation.

For AV fights my attack chain does get a bit draining without having SC targets at all, but I'll generally be pulling food for Mire anyways during those scenarios so I end up with SC bait.

I also have inspiration macros for everything including blues, and if I see myself approaching a rough spot I will equip Ageless for the DDR and secondary benefit of +end.

Really the only time my endurance becomes a problem I can't handle is against Arachnos Mu's and Malta Sappers. I have targeting macros set up for them so I can either Gravity Well or Gravitic Emantion them before they can drain me. The Megalomaniac/Vanguard Medal accolade power is very useful for increasing the effectiveness of your mez when you need the extra boost too- I use that as often as possible in challenging situations.

I use t4 Melee Hybrid which gives status protection 50% of the time and a taunt aura. Also keep in mind that I softcap all positions with a small purple and bring with me lots of mez myself, so I rarely get hit with mez to begin with. When I do, I click my break free macro if I don't have any sitting in my tray already. Sometimes I'll also bring my t4 Clarion against particularly challenging enemy groups, but more often than not I run my t4 Barrier to increase the lifespan of my pets.

Well I have every Destiny at t4 and I switch between them as needed. For the UG trial for instance, I always bring Clarion. For Keyes, I always bring Rebirth. My favored Destiny for teaming in general content is Barrier since it gives my teammates a nice buff and prolongs the lifespan of my pets like I mentioned earlier. I will use Clarion a lot too against certain enemy groups on 54x8 if I'm soloing.

For Hybrid I use Melee Embodiment, mostly for the taunt aura but the status protection is nice too.

For Judgment- I use t4 Ion (extra damage) for farming or fighting easy mode spawns like Council, etc. My main Judgment is t4 Void with -dmg since it adds an extra level of mitigation.

Lore I use the extra damage branch of t4 Cimerorans.. Since they do a crapload of damage.

Obviously Agility Alpha is a godsend- It's a big part of the reason why I'm able to reach 32.5% to melee/ranged/aoe damage and still keep Eclipse perma.

Reactive Interface adds the most to my DPS and stacks -res with my FOTG proc in Orbiting Death.
