  1. "Beep.Beep.Beep" came low, soft and steady. Greg Walker stood up and followed the sound. "Haven't been in this section of the base since...ED was around" he thought. Moving slowly he glanced at the racks and racks of gathered tech and salvages, "Damn, never gonna get around to that now" his mind responded.
"Beep. Beep. Beep" the sound continued. Approaching an isolated teleport pad in the remotest part of the base Greg found the source of the alarm. A computer screen on a disused terminal was flashing...an alarm had been triggered. Flicking on the switch a low hum of the early model power module kicked in and the lights instantly flared.
Outside in Atlas someone had tripped one of his sentry alarms. Memories flooded back of a tired and injured hero crawling slowly along a wall on a dark and rainy night, hordes of Hellions were searching for him baying for blood. Snapping back into the present he glanced at the lit cabinets around the room.
"A vial of SupaDrine" was the inscription "FrostFire 2004" next to "Xanatax gem" Xanatax 2004. Dozens of small souvenirs lined the wall, photos in many cases of the earliest work he had ever done as a Hero. A memory came back strong then.

"Mama.. Is the Man/Lady gonna be ok...He is losting the red stuff everywhere"
"Yes Jonah the MAN will be ok...Mama is a nurse and has stopped the bleeding. He is just tired"
"Why is he wearing those coloured cloths...he looks kinds like a girl"
"He is a Hero Jimmy...He saves people and does not want the bad men to know who he is"
"He saveded us when the bad peoples took you away...I like him and I am being a hero when I grows up"
    "Maybe Jimmy...but yes..."
"Mama.. Can I gived him my drawing now"
"Just place it on the table son... he is sleeping now"

Back in the present Greg picked up the drawing of a brightly coloured stick man and lots of black sticks with a red hat...a little boy was flying in the air with a bright cape. Tears flooded then as Greg started to remember all the people he had helped in the early career of a hero. "Damn me but it is easy to forget them with all this cosmic, time travelling, God fighting stuff going along"
Tapping the keyboard and entering the crude password Greg looked at the alarm... It was Jimmy's apartment...
Stepping out of the teleport light the Hero Prima Nocte walked through the remains of the building. Someone has to protect the little people "he thought".
A scream up from the alley and he followed...5 hellions had herded a lonely middle aged woman into the alley and were starting to have some fun, at there feet was a young man, bleeding from a knife wound.
"I would put the knife away lads..."
"Look who is here.. A lonely hero... Who are you Hero...Purple Man..." referring to the shade of his clothing
    "I am Prima Nocte..."
"Prima Who....You better scram before I.."
Prima Nocte summoned one of his lowest attacks and subdued the hellions before the sentence could finish..."Been quite a while since I found someone who did not know my name" he thought.
The man was dead...the man was Jimmy...he was dressed in a mockery of clothing resembling Greg's first hero costume.. the one he wore when he saved him years ago...The woman was in hysterics..."Where were you/....why did you let him try and be a hero... why did you abandon us..."
Anger flashed...Prima Nocte would not abandon, self pity were not his cause...He stalked from the alley and called in an inhumanly loud voice
    "I will fight...I will remember...I will cleanse"
THe final crusade of Prima Nocte, starting in Atlas clearing any and all gangs he could began that night. All tasks were completed...all contacts were reconected...Prima Nocte fights until the end.

"Self indulgence but I remember fighting the hellions and frostfire battles back back in the dim beginning and remember one of the last Buffy episodes where she finds it odd that a Vampire did not know who she was..."been a long time since I have found one that did not know who I was"...Whilst no XP is needed, given nor inf either Prima Nocte has street swept Atlas, Kings, Perez, IP, Talos, Striga, Steel, Skyway, Brickstown, Hollows, Fautline, Eden, PI, Croatia, all the old places...he has started and now only has 4 mission contacts in opuroboros not completed.. this will be fixed by the time the came closes... Thanks Coh...Thanks COmmunity...I will not post anymore and when the game goes dark Prima Nocte will be fighting Hellions like the old days...
  2. I am a Mac user and thus try not to look at windows programs. I will download and use mids just to look at this build However this will be after the end of the world. THB I understand the love of this character. My recent WS Prima Nocte has just hit 44 (highest so far) and I do not wish to copy any builds, however I have seen a few others completed builds in action and wow...definately an EPIC AT. Good luck to all khelds as they move across the multiverse to save other planets and people. Your posts have been great THB and I am sorry you have had to release the build in these circumstances.
  3. Lots of great advice from the best here.. Sometimes in a mob it is not good to target the toughest first with GW..4 slots in GW (even 1 acc, 2dam and a rec) single shots most even con minions..thus a corpse..I am remembering pre-eclipse my pattern
Check out the mob..mez/sappers/quants etc.. click through all of them (slow but gives me a number and an idea)...if it is ok then stealth in..GW one..dwarf..mire (take alpha) humab mire...dwarf mire..nova aoe madness (1 of each)..stygian circle ...then usually dwarf last man standing...worked very well... check out dechs guide as he has some great binds in there (i use TP, insp combine to BF's, auto change tray when switch bind, unchain essence bind (drops to human, targets corpse and turns soul to bomb...) styg circ bind (drops to human fires off styg circ ) Human Mire (drops human and fires off mire).
These are game changers as i do not have to click 2 buttons...(1 button to human and fire off power and then 2 to back into what ever form I now require). I also use the fluffy bind and now an eclipse as well.. try those binds as it can speed up life saving powers...
p.s. persist it is much more fun than my ss/shield tank with capped def and res to everything.. sitting in +4/8 and mashing a few buttons as they never seem to drop his hp below 80%...this toon is one that feels like a super...the fun of mob to mob bouncing from near death to full life is a blast...
  4. Hi Hermeneas..same idea as me.. I have been on and off since ED and had a few Khelds into low 20's and went Meh!!.. read Dechs and other guides and said.."Ahhh.. now I understand...you need to think differently"
I think that your +0/3 is about right as this was where I was running, less mobs then less corpses "FIND MORE CORPSES"..and too many more just seem to get that one lucky shot and bamn.. you are dead...You mention not much slotting in Dwarf...have you slotted any of the Human stuff yet, at that level I had slotted most Dwarf attacks to 4, nova AOE to 5, mire 4 and grav hold to 4... used only so's or straight up io (no sets).. have just got 3 lotg's recharge now and kheld set and am purchasing oblits now (not worried about waiting until 50 as not much % and the set bonus is good.. off 5 purchase is cheap as mostly) I found that i used the Human at the start (mire/grav minion for a corpse) then dwarf mire..then maybe.. TP away/switch nova aoe blast/dwarf tp back in and then stygian and grav another minion.. worked a charm limited deaths but really stygian return is great on a 3 minute timer atm. Human is not fun in the early and leads to many deaths as res is nothing.. dwarf 3 slotted with io res buff is brilliant and helps heaps. I slot the dwarf e/drain as an attack and have 3 single, 1 aoe in dwarf, 1 shot minion kill in human when i drop to heal or mire and only use nova on bigger spawns or ones farther away. I find mez hurts when in nova and once on the downward spiral death follows.

Eclipse is great however not a sure life saver as it does run out...am now lvl 42 and loving it. Worth the hard work early on to understand the AT so you can shine when the good powers come along more often
    (Peace Shade LVL 42 Justice)
p.s. thanks to all for the guides I have not looked at builds as they do not matter.. My shade kicks when I know what I am doing not following the numbers.. enjoy
  5. Dechs, Aib and AlienOne

    I love this guide.
I have been a player for quite some time, yet never posted much. I have a few 50's but only ever gotten to lvl 15 on a pb and lvl 6 on ws before getting distracted. This guide is what i wanted, not a slotting guide...not a build to copy. A philosophy, a method to understand how to play this AT. In fact the reason to play this game. I am loving my WS and previously the BORING levels between 20 and 32 are brilliant. The style of playing improves, using the abilities of the AT to the fullest, "I need more bodies, must find more bodies" going into a fight is not which form am I going to take
I am a MFing WS...I am the whole form, my combined power is greater than the sum of my parts. I previously thought this AT was lame and only diehards played it...wrong only diehards attempt to play it. True heroes (villians) embrace the WS.

Thanks guys...look forward to a team one night as all kheldians destroy the game and show we are not underpowered...

    Hell and Back
  6. I wish to thank you for this, as a newbie with a Dark streak my first was a dark/dark def and seemed to be having problems with the whole thing. This has helped very much, with descriptions of powers for further planning...only dif with mine was I did not know how to plan the slots.
Is it possible to change where the slots are once they have been set?
