Paragon rewards

I just bought $30.00 worth of paragon points today, and all I got were 2 paragon reward tokens.

WTH is this right? If it is it doesn't seem fair at all.

You get 1 for every 1200 pp bought or roughly $15 dollars what doesn't seem fair to you?

Note that the bonus 240pp(I think it is) counts towards your next token for purchased PP.

Now, if you bought 2400 PP and this is your first time ever spending money on the game (you've never bought points before, subbed before, or applied a box code before) you should of recieved 3 tokens (and maybe that's what is throwing you off, you bought before and got the) - 1 bonus token for first purchase.

You're right, that doesn't seem fair.

Now, if you'd received two Paragon reward tokens and 2640 (1320 x 2) Paragon Points, that would be fair.

As a subscriber, you receive 1 Token per $15 spent, with an option to get them cheaper by buying in bulk (multi-month subscriptions).

As a Premium, you get one token per $15 spent, with an option to get extra tokens when you buy in bulk (which essentially translates to a per-token discount).

How is this unfair? You're paying the same price per token either way. And by buying points, you get your tokens up front, instead of having to wait.

What part of it seems unfair to you?
The math looks right to me.

Note that it's per 1200 points, not per $15. This matters sometimes; $100 gets you 8 tokens.

/This.

It's only 1 paragon reward for $15 bucks if you buy points in increments of $5 dollars. All the other point packages give bonus points which count towards the next reward.

$15 dollars gets 120 bonus points
$50 dollars gets 600 bonus points
$100 dollars gets 1600 bonus points

The store on the corner sells 2-liter bottles of Pepsi for $1.50, but if you get four of them at once, it's $5.00. How much does a 2-liter of Pepsi cost?

See, "per $15" is shorthand, because otherwise the math gets complicated. The fact is, how much money it costs to get a reward token doesn't have one single answer. But if you put up $15, either in the form of purchasing points or paying for a month of VIP time, you'll get at least one token. Maybe more, depending on the math, and your previous purchases.

VIP time also gets cheaper if you buy more at once, but for clarity and simplicity, it's $15 a month.

So basically, $15 gets you a token. Anything else is either a bonus or a bulk discount.

That all is true but you are dealing with people on the internet and as we all know quite well if you don't spell things out exactly and pound it into their heads with a 10lb sledgehammer until their brains are oozing out of their ears they will misinterpret everything that gets posted.

Even that won't stop people from twisting what was said to mean something else, but at least we can point to the original post and show what was actually said.

No that $15 gets you 1200 Paragon Points assuming you are paying in US dollars - its the token that is a bonus.
