What Water Blast combos will you be making?

Possibly because Defenders have stronger heals/mitigation from their primary than Corruptors have from their secondary? That's just a guess though.

That actually doesn't make any sense at all. In fact it runs counter to the general AT modifiers and stated design rules/intent. Although in terms of basic mechanics it would make sense if the amount healed is linked to the amount of damage dealt.

Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...

Dehydrate, like Life Drain and most other self-healing powers, works off a percentage of base health, so Corruptors heal more than Defenders, and Blasters more than either.

The server went down and is back up, but I don't see no water blast in the store!

Thanks for eight fun years, Paragon.

I see it, but it gives me an error message when I try to buy it. <grumbles>

Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!
168760: A Death in the Gish. 3 missions, 1-14. Easy to solo.

I was also able to get in. The Last Leviathan lives!

It gave me the error message several times, then worked. It might just be overwhelmed by all the people trying to buy it at once, so keep trying, or wait a little bit.

Got it on both accounts!

What a fun set, thanks Devs!

I expect I'll be happier when soloing on the Corruptor, thanks to the better damage scale.

On the other hand, I already have a level 50 Corruptor (Fire/Cold), and Defender would have better numbers for team support, defense buffs (Manuevers+Steamy Mist), etc.

Strangely enough, Dehydrate actually heals for more on a Corruptor than on a Defender. Not sure why that is.

This.

Defenders have 1017.4HP at level 50 so a 10% heal is 101.7HP, where Corruptors have 1070.9HP at 50 so a 10% heal is 107.1HP.

I started with a Water/Storm corruptor. I will make my Water/Fire blaster after the blaster changes hit live.

Tidal Justice. Picturing the oriental dragon type, river spirit motif.

Still working on the blaster concept. Leaning towards tech or science origin. Is Water Purifier too glib?

Why Blasters? Empathy Sucks.
So, you want to be Mental?
What the hell? Let's buff defenders.
Tactics are for those who do not have a big enough hammer. Wisdom is knowing how big your hammer is.

Gah...800 points! I only have 740, and didn't budget for this. Sadness. I want a Water/Mental!

Water/Traps has been fun so far. I'm really looking forward to leveling my character.

He's a mercenary called Merchant Marine.

Had a Concept since when i heard water blast was coming out, Titanic's Bane, took a while to decide on what power sets, ended up choosing Water/ice blaster. seems to be working out nicely so far, not uber or anything but fun

Right. i knew that most self-healing powers worked like that and somehow blanked on it. *derp*

So far trying it with a Water/Dark Corruptor. Seems like there are some fairly good synergies in that combo.

Out of the 2 I've made so far...the one seeing the most screen time is my water/ice blaster Tsunami Ami Yumi on Virtue. Concept is that they're actually a set of twins that share the same powers over water and ice. For now the difference between them is purely cosmetic (basically palette swapped costumes since the toon is only lvl 28 right now), but I may eventually branch that out into 2 seperate builds with slightly different power selections (mainly in the pool power dept.).
