With me back at work (night shift) I'm usually to tired to do a MoMag run so don't play until the weekends.

Thanks for another successful run tonight Union!

Perhaps they should make a Really Really Hard Way badge? I'm kidding! Stop looking at me like that

If you meet the conditions for the Really Hard Way five times on one character you should get the badge "Now that wasn't so hard, was it?"

I think I've asked this before but...how long does it take for you guys/gals to take Tyrant down usually?

The full 19.5 minutes, 10 minutes, etc...?

You have :P

If he's going to drop, he drops in three or less Ultimates in our experience. so 9 minutes or less.

If he's not fallen over in that time span, then it's probably time to go for plan b and take out 3 lights at a time for 4 times, and settle for 'The Hard Way'.

I've been on two successful runs for it. The first I used 3 ultimates, so between 6 and 9 minutes then. The other I used only 2 ultimates, making it something less than 6 (5ish at an estimate.) I should note that on that second run most of the league members had been on one or both of the earlier Victory successes, so we generally knew what we were doing.

PS One strategy tip: on Victory our standard use of Lore pets is to bring them out when he's at 30% health (or more properly the first time we run away from the lightning after 30%.) That is around the point where his regeneration really goes into overdrive and you need the extra 'oomph' from lore damage.

I want to disagree completely on this one, depending on your plan. On our run we won by very carefully waiting until 5 minutes were left so we had a second coordinated lore push at 5 minutes left. I will grant that, baring something like that, if he holds relatively steady for more than about 3 minutes you're probably out of luck.

Yeah, like Mr. M says, this has worked out great for us. Having a coordinated time to add in that much more firepower, and at that point where he really gets tough, has been eye-opening.

I just lead 2 back to back RHW runs on Freedom, followed by 1 Hard way run. A few people switched toons and we picked up a few on 2nd run.

Das Bones
Dr Leo
RoFlamen
Caliburst
Red Tape
Lil Bug
Mezzey
Destiny Morna
Atomic Saint
Monkey 0707
Isabella 53
Skadi_Victoria
Transcendent_One
Genlon1
Phantom Quark
Dormant
Lucrezia
Viper Kinji
Enyalios
Super Gobbles
Fire Guardian
Akarah the Hunter
Ion Sky
DualPistolsCHICK
Maxwell Blast
Contenda
Ishigami

Should be called 'Not really hard way' with a prepared team. Only used 1 ultimate inspiration on him the first 2 rounds.

2nd run we got Triple Threat.

3rd run we went for 8 minute badge so we used pets at the beginning, so we had no pets for Tyrant. We still got him all the way down to 12% before we couldn't overcome his regen. pets popped up but people were out of ultimates so we used lights and got Hard Way for some.

Awesome work freedom! We made it look easy!

Virtue just had another successful run, this time with 23 Corruptors on the team.

I don't think we need to be that picky on teams in the future, but Corr's REALLY help on the latter half of the fight.

I only switched my font so that I could tell the difference between i and L in character names. And I figured that if there was an appropriate place to use Comic Sans, it would be a video game based on super-hero comics. I don't use it anywhere else.

Even still, I'm not sure why my screenshot would be so annoying... it's not like I'm using it on professional documents or anything.

Lol @23 corrs. A bit overkill to say the least .

Grats to all of you!

I know that getting the league filled with players that care enough to come prepared with ultimates and team rages, who have made adjustments to their computers and characters for maximum performance is probably a lot harder than avoiding an area with auto-hit lightning.

Soon, I'll have this one.
