Accolades : the quickest & easiest way ?

Hi everyone,
As from now french & german forums have merge with the US & EN forums, i'm not quite sure where to ask this question but let's try here !

Does a simple guide exist to explain the quickest & easiest way to get all accolades badges for powers ? I mean those :
- http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Villain_Accolade_Powers

This guide explaining from A to Z what to do and in which order to get through this badging time the quickest & easiest way possible ?

I'm having couple of new players & friends who never done them yet, but as far as i remember this took me ages to do those badges on my main toon and never got the courage to redo it again for rerolls. And i don't like badges (actually i HATE them), they neither, they just wanna got the accolade powers as you can understand.

Is there any of you who know if that kind of guide exist already ?
As i know, we have now the possibility to change side just with a token from the Paragon Market which make the hunt quicker as some accolades are easier to get from vilain or hero side, depending which one.

Please help

Well, doing the hero TFs in level range is usually a good start. They will also provide badges you need for other Accolades (Tank Buster from Sister Psyche, Gearsmasher from Positron or Synapse).

And you can start working on the first TF sooner than everything but the exploration badges required for the others.

IMO, the +HP/+End accolades are easier to get blueside and click accolade powers are easier to get redside. The exception being the Elusive Mind accolade which can only be acquired in Rikti invasion zone events.

Moonfire's TF is guaranteed to give you the Silver Bullet (for warwolves) and Slayer (for vampires) badges, usually by the end of the second mission. Both of those are requirements for the Atlas Medallion.

You can speed up visiting plaques for the history badges by binding the /loc command to a key (I usually bind it to my L key, because it makes sense and it's out of the way). Having it bound lets you frequently check your location on the map's grid coordinates as you travel, letting you zero in on each plaque location quickly.

What seem to be the most time-consuming badges to earn are Unveiler (for Fake Nemesis) and Illusionist (for Master Illusionist decoys). Peregrine Island is a great choice to farm both, the Fakers along the docks close to Ghost Falcon and the MI decoys along the little park/beach a bit more north/northeast.

Well, not guaranteed, but if you've run into Council much before the Moonfire, it is the safer way to bet.

And Moonfire is SO fun! I'd fully endorse this TF.

I find tip missions usually supply plenty of MI Decoys now. And prefer to get my Fakes in the shadow shards 'Zulu' (where you can also hunt PPs and Overseers at the same time). That said, I wonder if the redside versions of these accolades might not be an easier route, though.

Currently you can help your count of Fake Nemesis with the Nemesis event.

For exploration and history badges I'd recommend getting the vidiotmaps map patch, it helped me immensely when hunting for accolades a couple of weeks ago.

I know this is not necessarily a guide for doing it all quickly, but to be honest I don't think there's just one quick way or it'd be all over.

A lot of the tips being posted here will make it much easier though...

Okay Obviously to get Task Force Commander you are required to complete:

Positron 1 and 2 this will also give you the 100 defeats (Clockwork gears) required for Gearsmasher which is one of the requirements for Freedom Phalanx Reserve Member

Synapse which is all clockwork so if you do it before POSI you get gearsmasher that way

Sister Psyche which is mostly Freakshow and can get you the 100 Bosses required for tank Buster .. another of the required defeat badges for Freedom Phalanx

Citadel .. all Council and will get you a few Vamprii and Warwolves but not enough for Silver Bullet or Slayer

Manticore which is all Crey.. you will battle enough Paragon Protectors for that badge which is a requirement for Conspiracy Theorist Accolade (the Freeze Pistol)

and Numina

Now as someone else mentioned do Moonfire which will give you all the Warwolves and Vamprii you need to fulfill that requirement for the ATlas Medallion. Of course you are going to need to collect all of the required Exploration badges and History plaques along with the mission badges to compete the requirements for the Accolade (see the Wiki and/or Vidiotmaps to learn what is needed and where to loacte those.

That leaves you with one BIG hurdle to get past to have completed all the requirements for the Atlas Medallion. Freedom Phalanx Reserve Member and Task Force Commander... defeat 100 Fake Nemesis and earn the Unveiler badge to complete the requirements for Freedom Phalanx. there is no TF, Trial or mission arc that contains enough of these to get the badge and most people wind up stret hunting to get them. The two spots available to find these are Peregrine Island and the Shadow Shard. Now in the past 2 weeks I have managed to obtain Unveiler on 3 different characters by joining league battling Nemesis invasions so until the end of May that is another QUICK way to get those.

Okay that leaves you with Portal Jockey. If you start working toward this goal at level 40 ... do Tina McIntyre's arc and you will get credit for defeating Anti Matter, Nueron, and Maurader. NOTE: If you decide to work toward this late and Tina isn't available you can do her arc as a Time travel mission through Ouroborus. At 45 grab Maria Jenkins and start doing mission... Her arc will get you credit for Chimera, Bobcat, Nueron, Maurader, Nightstar, Diabolique, Infernal, Dominatrix, Black Swan, Battle Madien, Mother Mayhem and Malaise. individual missions wil from Maria will get you the final Praetor Siege to complete Dimensional Warder.

You can also obtain credit for defeating Praetor by doing the Apex TF, tin Mage Tf and any of the new Incarnate trials.

Your not done yet LOL .. An additional individual mission from Maria that has you battle Nightstar grants the exploration badge Shrouded. There is no one spot on that mission map that you must go to collect it... sta in the mission long enough and the badge is awarded. Note ... there is absolutely no requirement to defeat Nightstar for this badge simply stay in mission until it is awarded.

The other Exploartion badge required is Multidimensional and it also is awarded by running a specific mission. In this case its a three part mission from Tina McIntyre against Hydra and you can either do that normally between 40-44 by getting it dierctly from Tina or you can do it as a time travel mission through Ouroborus.

Paragon Wiki does a outstanding job on the details for all the accolades so just go here http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Hero_Accolades for more details.

Checking the Guide to Guides thread shows a rather old thread, Accolade Hunting for Heroes, but the info in it doesn't appear to be too badly out of date. The only really inaccurate info I see is Faultline explore badge location and Illusionist badge requirements. Using VidiotMaps patch will mean you don't need the loc info anyway, and Illusionist is much easier to get now.

Actually, the first four missions, IIRC, in Moonfire, when set for 6, do contain enough for the badges. A full group, definitely (if no one starts defeating before everyone zones in)

As a checklist, it's a nice little sheet, although it's pre-Freedom, and in fact pre-incarnate.

When going after Dimensional Warder for Portal Jockey, remember Null the Gull in Pocket D - one of the things he does is keep track of who you have fought previously.

For Invader, park an alt at each level band and you can save up the Mayhems.
Blueside you should get close to Tank Buster in Sister Psyche TF, Gearsmasher in Synapse and Unveiler can be had through an Anton Sampson mission, "Defeat Leader of Trap Base" which can spawn 20-30 Fake Nems. Firebase Zulu Point X-Ray has a lot of Fake Nems too.

For Dimensional Warder, you can get everyone except Infernal (?) and Dominatrix in the Incarnate trials and Apex/Tin Mage (Siege/Nightstar in BAF, Battle Maiden in Apex, Neuron and Bobcat in Tin Mage, ANti-Matter in Keyes Island, Mother Mayhem in Minds of Mayhem, Marauder in Lambda Sector, Diabolique is in Dilemma Diabolique (not sure if she counts), think Chimera and Shadowhunter are in Magisterium trial. You can just run Maria Jenkins' arc and get most of them too.

Good luck.

There is one exception, which my brute happened upon completely by accident. http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Maxwell_Christopher

Mission 6.3.1 Protect people from nemesis war. This mission, when set to 8 spawns about 22-35 fakes. There are 4 civilians to rescue, so simply do not rescue them. It's not part of a story arc. When given a mission that is not this specific mission - click on the contact and abandon the mission and reselect a mission. Sooner or later, it will pop up. Sometimes, he gives it the first or second time, and once, after trying 20 times, I just gave up finished the arc he offered and then he gave it within a few tries - it may have something to do with level.
If you have a team of 4, the mission holder will have to quit team, select the mission and enter the map, which spawns it for 8 (assuming mission holder has set the difficulty for 8) and then invite the others.

However, I heartily recommend you participate in the zone nemesis invasions - if you're there from the start with a full team, you should get 25-30 each zone. Makes it easy, and a lot more fun.

Which I've been posting about whenever the subject comes up for at least 3 years now... With some directions.

Actually it is the Nemesis Rex mini-arc.

No, it has to do with how he has a ton of missions and the game randomizes which one he gives (other than the main arc).

Actually, with the difficulty sliders, you can set to -1, +1, or +3 and x8 to get the maximum number of Fake Nemesis and Fake Nemesis Rex (they count too) spawns.

Players don't have to quit the team, the mission can be reset as long as everyone is off the map. The mission holder (with the right difficulty) should enter the map first. Also with my method in the second link below, you can do it solo (though you do need someone to invite you back to the mission if you want it on another character on your account). It also works for both heroes AND villains, if the villain uses the zone portal from RWZ to the Rogue Isles (still counts as a transport hub). I suspect the new Tunnel System would work as well for villains.

Personally I've saved this mission on one character since late 2005 to help others with the badge (needed at least 4 players before the difficulty slider change). The best part with how missions work is that the mission stays at the level it was picked up, but the team is sk'd to the mission holder's current level. So a level 40-45 mission vs level 49-50 characters. It makes things quicker.
