Absorb will have a cap of it's own though.

What do you expect when they for some reason decide to release all their new information at Pummits (Whatever they are) rather than using their forums where most of their fanbase congregates?

It's not like I pay for an active subscription and browse these forums all day looking for information like this, I should have known that external websites are where all the cool companies keep their most up to date information...

All of the information that is Officially Available can be found using the forums.

The reason none of the set's specifics are available is that they haven't been announced yet. The only reason any other site might currently have more info on these sets is because they were leaked during beta by someone going through the game's files in violation of the user agreement.

I agree. We've had two "heal" sets in this game and there are more buffs than Plexius was predicting. I would expect the same here.

And honestly, with all the recharge we can get, we don't really need 5 heals in a set

I will forgive that then, but someone mentioned info given out at the Pummit and I hate that kind of thing with a passion. Just because there are new types of media doesn't invalidate the old ones which would have always been as good as the new ones if the people put in charge were IT people and not just desk idiots.

All information from the Pummit has been made available. Which is basically the name of the set and the names of the powers.

But no information on what the powers actually do has been officially announced. Which means only naughty people have any idea.

I'd heard of the new armor set and Water Blast, but I missed this one. Definitely sounds more interesting than those other two, as well. My only beef is that I'm not a fan of Controllers, and none of the other ATs for it have good "earth" or "plant" powers to go with it.

Hmm, maybe an Archery/ Corruptor? Twig blast!

...what kind of 'Plant Blast' set could you use. Because I, for one, wouldn't want another rehash of Spines/Thorns, but I can't really think of anything else.

Well, I wouldn't really have a problem Thorns getting proliferated to blast sets, mind you, but honestly, it's more just a comment that I'm not sure what currently existing sets would fit with this one naturally (no pun intended) in terms of theme for the non-Controller ATs.

I'd love to pair it, with, say, Earth Assault, but we don't have an AT that can do that.

What does i23's release have to do with Nature Affinity? Am I missing something?

You could pair it with the upcoming Water Blast set for the general "Nature" theme.

Try Dark Blast! You can colour it brown for earth or greenish for a sort of spore blast, and the green tentacles will look like vines growing out of the ground.

My point is where?

I haven't seen any official comfirmation on this site (That I take as something I pay to access via my subscription in order to find out my CoX information).

if raging tempest looks TOO WINDY i'm going to be angry that it's not part of a Wind-Blast Set that i've been begging for four six years, and why is an elemental wind power in a nature set that is otherwise pretty organic-sounding. [i know i know, to fill a hole, but still! i need wind blast!!!!!]

D:<

otherwise i'm going to looooove this set!!!!

can. not. wait.

The summery of the pummet is created on presentation software that requires the use of that website.

This forum software CANNOT display the information in that format.

But I fail to see the difference. The info is there. You can find it via the official site. Why is clicking a link so painful?

Because they have a website that they should be using to its full capability. You can display text and pictures on here so there is no real reason for using prezzi (Whatever that is) other than because it is some kind of stupid fashion.

Edit: I just went to the main site to see what I could see about the pummit and found this beauty

And rather than create a live chat feature on their own website they again use external websites that not everyone has access to, meaning to participate I have to give me personal details to yet another company.

You don't need to give anyone any personal details to see prezzi.

And yes, the could have used old words and pictures. They chose not to. What difference does it make?

Why create (an expensive) something, when that something already exists for free?

It's like saying: I can make oxygen in a lab, so why should I have to go outside and breath free air that might have already passed through other people?

The personal details thing was a jab at them talking to us over Facebook and Google+ instead of talking to us in the place we already congregate for the specific purpose of talking about this game.

Also the reason they should create a chat feature (Not expensive because I assume they have web design staff on their books, and probably easy enough to find open source code for anyway. And even if it is expensive it should be considered worth it seeing as a forum subscription is part of a VIP subscription and thus technically revenue generating. But then by extension why are they bothering to have a forum at all because that is equally as expensive) is because it puts the feature at the heart of their community and has everything all in one place, which was the point of websites in the first place.

Having information spread around and then linked defeats the purpose.

Also I like the 'chose not to' because it is another example of how the 'choices' they make are getting further and further away from what I used to enjoy about this game.

I just realised we are waaaay off topic though. So I will shut up for now. And sorry for all those who care about Nature Affinity and had to read my rants.

i hope it pairs well thematically with other sets besides plant/earth control and maybe water blast :/

Many of use are already on those sites. You think we should be ostracised because you don't like them?

It's VERY expensive. They would have to hire full time moderators as well as all-new web software. Personally, I would rather the money be spent on game content.

The point of html websites was so you could navigate around the vast quantity of information on the internet easily by clicking hyperlinks. NOT so you only ever go to one place. You don't need the internet at all for that.

I personally don't like information in the form of video or audio. But I don't insist that only the forms of media that I personally like should ever be used.
