Suggestion: add a 'Trading Fee' for using the /ah command

Hm. I stand corrected.

All I can say is that one of the things I liked least about WW, back in the dark days before /ah, was that I always seemed to end up next to That One Guy who can't or won't turn off his FWOOSH Fiery Aura, or his SPLUTCH-SPLUTCH-SPLUTCH-SPLUTCH Spine Burst, or his ZUM-ZUM-ZUM Dark Armor, or *howl* his damned pets *howl* that won't shut up *howl* for more than two seconds *howl*...

My thanks, again, to Paragon for letting me avoid all of that (as well as the convenience of doing my own business on the go, rather than having to take a side trip every few missions) with a simple slash command. A small or even large fee isn't going to be enough to make me endure it again.

This is all I need to hear. The rest was superfluous.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

I'm going to add my No vote in here as well.

With the convenience of the /ah command I'm finally starting to use the market on a semi regular basis. I'm far from being wealthy in CoH (most loaded character has under 400k, 2nd most loaded around 300k, no one else worth talking about) and don't need to be nickled and dimed to death.

As for public gathering places, what's wrong with Pocket D? We don't need to gather at the AH in person for the convenience of the spammers.

Check out the Repeat Offenders network of SGs! You'll be glad you did.

I also vote no. It's a reward token perk. It shouldn't have a penalty if it's a perk, period.

But I miss being able to pop in to Wentworths and find a bunch of folk hanging out doing their thing. IMHO the game needs *more* public gathering places where your character can feel like part of an actual CITY of Heroes.

So, how to incentivize players actually using the actual market locations?

Well, I'm glad you asked...

A convenience fee on remote transactions!
Yes, a bunch of people standing around not interacting with anyone and spamming AOE powers. God, how I MISS that.

No. Take your effort to force us to uphold your vision of how we should be playing the game and shove it someplace dark and smelly.
