Let's talk warmace
Is War Mace slow like TW without momentum, this is one of my only concerns. Slow activating attacks get on my nerves.

Clobber animates so fast it is the crazy highest DPA attack among most Scrapper sets.
Jawbreaker is pretty fast.
Crowd Control is crazy good fast. Whirling Mace is the same as the other pbaoes from the sword/axe sets.
Pick a secondary without much redraw and you're golden.
I switched to a build chaining Clobber-Jawbreak-Shatter for ST and it is fantastic.
If you are used to sets akin to MA or Ice blast, then War Mace can still "feel" slow. It really isn't that much slower, but for lack of a better way to explain it; the visceral effect of the combined animations and sound effects for War Mace is just, well, kind of "casual".
If you can stomach losing the mini-cone on shatter, you can operate with Pulverize instead with a minimal DPS hit against single targets. FWIW: My attack chain "feels" much quicker to me without shatter in the rotation.
It's not as slow moving as TW though...well TW before momentum.
Cool, I think I am going to try one out, maybe with EA, or WP

Im wanting to do either wm/inv or wm/sd. Absolutely has to have fly though.
My WM/SD scrapper is a beast! One of the strongest feeling toons I've rolled and really pointed out how far down the totem Blasters have slid.
However, he stalled out at 30 when I realized I just really really can't stand click mez protection.
Maestro Mavius - Infinity
Capt. Biohazrd - PCSAR
Talsor Tech - Talsorian Guard
Keep Calm & Chive On!

War Mace is awesome though.
It's what turned me off to ninjitsu after all these years...that and /Ice is way more my style :3
My wm/sd scrapper is awesome fun and does great dps. I averaged out around low 2:50s with mine for pylon runs. I'm actually thinking it could be better.
After watching a certain comic book based movie and reading this thread I decided to make a WM. I tried WM a few years ago on a tanker and the damage was bad. I made a brute with WM and he was okay, so now I will give a scrapper a try. I just have a question, I am making my scrapper look like a Bane Spider and I was wondering if there is a redraw with WM and Mace Mastery? Do I use the same Mace? I was thinking of going EA for the defense, resist and stealth like a Bane or should I go Invul for the resist/defense?

Why Blasters? Empathy Sucks.
So, you want to be Mental?
What the hell? Let's buff defenders.
Tactics are for those who do not have a big enough hammer. Wisdom is knowing how big your hammer is.
There is redraw with the Mace mastery, they do not use the same mace. Both EA and Invuln are solid choices. EA gives you significant end management and the stealth is very good. If you want to go Bane-like, EA seems the better choice.

If I were to make a Thorish type scrapper do you think he would be an Invul, Willpower, or Elec Armor?

I think I'd choose Destiny Incandescence for style, but Rebirth is awfully good.

I was messing around on Mids and came up with this build. Tell me whatcha think. I got soft cap S/L/E/N. I tried to get soft cap on Fire as well, But I wasn't able too. I went Agility Core for the extra defense, recharge and endurance. Going to get Degenerative Radial Flawless Interface, Ion Core Final Judgement, Ageless Core Epiphany, and Cimeroran Core Superior Ally. I could go Storm Elemental, but I do not want my mobs to get KB with hurricane.

You'll want to go through this power by power to optimize, I just tossed set pieces in powers for the bonuses without paying any mind to the enhancement values.
There's 1 extra slot as well, 3 if you want to under slot Pulverize to a Kinetic Combat Mule and just use Shatter in your single target chain.

I got you there with a catalyzed Scrapper's Strike set split. I'm not sure how available the catalysts are for you, but the Scrapper set shouldn't be any more prohibitive to get than the purple sets.

Apparently, I play "City of Shakespeare"

As for Warmace, yeah, I wind up defaulting to the Fantasy Mace myself. The Carnival of Light ones could be interesting with a Carnie outfit...but yeah, a lack of decent models is a little depressing.
I played a WM/SD Scrapper and then conceptually turned her into a SS/WP Brute, but the short time I played Mace was outrageous.
