Aaron Thiery is a Hypocrite!

Agent White

Posted

He derides other heroes for not paying careful enough attention to Atlas, and sees their lack of vigilance as enough to be punished by bringing Arachnos into Atlas Park and getting at least dozens of people killed and relying purely on chance for newbie heroes who may not even be strong enough to fight Arachnos, to stop an execution of a dozen more.

Then, if you hit level eight: he immediately tells you he has no work for you. Nevermind the Arachnos spawn still crawling the streets. Nevermind that Arachnos is the only enemy he sends you against and it's a 1-50 group. He just brushes off higher level heroes who might want to keep helping Atlas, in otherwords forcing you to do nothing.

What a jerk.

It's more 'cut in half'

You know, there's a rumor going around that there are other zones in Paragon City than just Atlas Park.

Still in AP at level 8? Seriously?

Heaven forbid people play the game for, I dunno, story and content? >_>

Not to mention Twinshot's arc doesn't finish until level 15...

Do one DFB while doing the story arcs and 8 is easy to do in AP. A hydra boost can help cover problems TOs can't handle.

I think the main story progression (non-Twinshot) in AP is targeted to get you to 6 alone so with even a bit of street sweeping outleveling Aaron is an easy thing to do.

So why are they putting a contact in now that is only good for certain levels?

If they were going to do something like this they should have done it from day one.

Oh wait.

They did.

All normal mission contacts work this way.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

Yes. You have correctly identified the crux of the joke.

As pointed out: it's a bit of how the joke works, another thing is that it is kind of sad since Aaron Thiery is basically telling you to 'move along because you're too high leveled to help' when his arc is basically one long "other heroes suck" speech because they tend to move on when they get too high leveled, even though that's how the game works, that's how it's always worked, and that's the only way it really works.

@Scythus
Yes, but it was a post in another thread. ... That and it was before I actually ended up outleveling aaron thiery and had intent to run the arc myself.
