Commercials I can't STAND to watch...

You know what I am talking about. Commercials that you hate, or are so bothered by that you change the channel....or turn down the sound.....or leave the room.

First for me is the one about pertussis (whooping cough) where the little baby is coughing and gasping for breath! I HATE hearing that.
The other is the insurance promo with this annoying dude..I want to duct tape his mouth shut and throw him down a well...

There are these commercials on the radio where some person starts talking as if they were a radio personality. Like they're going to trick me into paying attention.

One that I've heard before and am hearing again lately is some lady advertising for people to buy gold coins, and she talks about it like we already want them. "I'll give you the number to call... but first listen to this...". That station loses a listener for about an hour to youtubeloop.com or my music folder whenever that commercial starts to play. If I'm in my car I will change stations or turn the radio off rather than hear commercials.



I don't own a TV and can't comment there.

I loathe commercials on the internet other than movie/game trailers. I do not watch videos that force a commercial first EVER not even on Youtube 'skip in 5sec' anymore (I use a third party site to view youtube vids without commercials. The only exception I make is for BBC news, but they're on thin ice because they have a tendantcy to put long commercials in front of short vids, and they play the same ONE commercial over and over.

I used to work at Menards (a lumber/hardware place in the midwest) for a short while after I got out of the Army.

Their "Save big money at Menards" slogan was playing over the canned music in the store all day. Even now, some 17-18 years later, I STILL auto-change the channel the second I catch a Menards commercial because the jingle sends me onto fits.

It's not that it was a bad place to work or anything. It just got really, REALLY, REALLY FREAKIN' OLD!

On the plus side, I don't see many of them anymore. I don't have cable (or dish or any other kind of TV).

I hate the whooping cough baby commericial and the geico pig commericial, my daughter uses that stupid weeee as her ring tone on her cellphone just to tick me off, gotta love those teenage years.

As for Geico, I like the gecko, the the the piglet is a ham.

I just saw another commericial I can't stand, the one where the boy who looks about 5 or 6 runs into the room where his mom is at and says in the voice of a 2 or 3 year old and exclaims, "Mommy I went poopoo." then she sees he pooped in the tub, the commericial is for bleach. First unless the child is mentally challenged do you know of any 5 or 6 years olds that still talk like a 2 or 3 year old and craps in the tub.

The Lamisil commercials where the little demon thing lifts the toenail like a door....it was so gross that they changed it, and now the fungus demons just imbed themselves between toes. YECCCCCCCCCHHHHH

Almost any McDonald's commercial. It's like they go out of their way to make them as bland and annoying as possible. With a company that makes so much money worldwide you'd think they could come up with better stuff.

Target commercials (which seem to just contain people prancing around), and any commercial (usually about a perscription drug) in which one person lists off facts and stuff about the product to their friends in a nonchalant manner like he or she works for the company.

Aww I happen to like the Chuck Norris WOW commericial and the Mr. T WOW commericial. Now if we can just get them to do CoH commericials that would be even cooler. Mr. T's archtype Mohawk/Mohawk Tanker, Mohawk origin of course.

As a general rule, political mudslinging ads. I'm sorry for getting political on here but, they just make me feel like the candidates don't CARE about the RESPONSIBILITY of being in power.
