"Clown Summoning: With the Clown Summoning Power Set for Masterminds, you will be able to command and control your own circus of clowns. The minion pets are three traditional happy clowns, with squirting flower ranged attacks and balloon-sword melee attacks. The lieutenant pets are of the sad clown variety, and finally the boss clown is a vicious mime with a very powerful self-containment attack that puts himself inside of an invisible, shrinking box. Clowns arrive on the battlefield via a single tiny car that they all pile out of."

I was able to beat someone else who had a Liger in Arena Combat. The design-your-own power guy won't have his Oversized Arms Melee for another 6 months. The bee bark was unable to penetrate the invisible shrinking box. Its just a matter of time before Clown Summoning dominates PVP until someday it will become CVC.

I found a bug ... my balloon-sword clowns shoot bees from their mouths after I purchased the Bee Bark power for my wolves. It looks neat, but it makes them even MORE overpowered.

Its noon and there is already a level 50 Clown Summoner in Pocket D on Freedom.

Well, part of the problem is the revamped MM ATOs. Enhancing silliness works only for Clown MMs! Yes, I know a single Clown MM can throw pies in the face of every AV in the final mission of STF simultaneously, I've seen the video, but having one single overpowered MM set does not mean that the set as a whole is fine.

My robot pets are only marginally silly when I have them use the silly walk emote... I mean really, people smile, maybe one or two giggle, but that's it. I feel the new silly-enhancing ATO is kinda wasted on bots. But it just makes Clown MMs even more ridiculously effective at what they do.

Eh, clowns aren't that bad. The minion clowns themselves have the build up on balloon sword, and the random stumbling from 'clownish agility'. T2's are pretty limited on range with their pie throw and custard assault, but I do have to admit that confetti bomb is a killer. Its the mime that gets you though. Pantomime weapon will always, ALWAYS do at least imitation guns, and at worst you'll get invisible bomb, which stacks with the control effects of confetti bombs. The knockback on the water hose attack is also just brutal. And people thought peacebringers were bad with knockback...

Also, with all of the honking and squeaking and whoopie-cushion noises, we have finally have something even more annoying than demon or beast pets. :/

The second upgrade power gives your 2nd tier clown pets STAFF FIGHTING! It's a shame the clowns got staffs before the players.


The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

I think the mag 50 unresistable Fear this set hits Positron with is enough to make it overpowered.

Patch 13.C10.WN release notes (Spoilers - fake release notes)

Fixed issue where Citizen would jump out of Arson Building in Steel Canyon into net held by clown henchmen. The citizens would land in the net only there was a trampoline underneath which flung them back into building. Missing BOING sound effect added back to animation

Clown Henchmen will no longer try to extinguish fire controller pets with legacy seltzer bottle
