I bought 4 shield wall procs a few days ago for a total of 1 billion. Converters have crashed the market on these. See the various threads on the subject in this forum.

I have 30 A-Merits sitting on a character that I'd saved up to buy a Glad Armor Unique. I've had them for over a month, but haven't bought it yet because I'm still gathering up the rest of the IOs for the build. Looks like I may have accidentally saved myself a LOT of money.

i can t think that No Torius is not aware of it... some sellers are like that...

Okay, prior to enhancement converters I'd have jumped in with "don't **** on this guy's thread".

Now?

LOL!

You aren't going to get that price. You just aren't.
They're going for about 300 mil on the market now.
The level 10's are still more expensive because it's really tough to generate those in PVP and they're more useful.

I actually converted and stockpiled of cheap PVP IOs directly to Glad procs. Cost was roughly 10-25 converters apiece.

The price may go up again, eventually. But with converters being so cheap, I seriously doubt you'll ever see the PVPIOs at that price level again.

Yep. The OP's sense of timing is definitely Not Good right now.

Those prices are already way down, and that doesn't include the other vectors
for obtaining converters yet (A-merits, Astrals, Empys).

When that patch finally hits, it will be doubtful if prices will *ever* reach the
level you're asking, again.

If that patch takes awhile to go live, then prices may recover somewhat (once they
fix the r-merit exploit), and folks finish burning through the bulk of their r-merit
supply.

That said, I picked up the trifecta yesterday (Glad Proc, Shield Wall Proc and
Panacea Proc) for 700M -- total for all 3 of them...

GL selling a single IO for 2 Billion.

There's definitely a lot more convergence to go with this availability. The converter supply is very constrained right now. There are 10s of thousands of converters "saved up" in alignment, astral, emp merits, waiting to be unleashed.

I haven't been on the market forum for at least 4 months so I am not sure really what's going on. Thank you everyone for your reply, kind words, and letting me know that the market has changed.

I think you vastly underestimate that. I have nearly 5000 virtual Converters myself (almost 500 Alignment Merits), and I doubt if that is a significant percentage of them.

Goodbye and thanks for all the fish.

Maybe hundreds of thousands or millions, then. But that just supports my ultimate point, which is: right now prices have not converged as much as they will, because there is an artificial limit on the converter supply. There are a ton of people itching to buy them up with the other 3 merit types.

I-22 post patch released the Enhancement Converters (that were supposed to
release with I-22 proper).

The basic gist of those (see Plasma's Guide post) is that you can use them to
switch crappy IO's into premium IO's.

Obviously, that's a gihugical game-changer and a lot of folks planned to take
full advantage of that, especially since converters are supposed to be readily
available using r-merits, a-merits, astrals, empys, and even mob drops.

Currently, only r-merits and drops occur right now, but that's still produced more
than enough converters to drop the PvP procs down to 25% of their old value already.

When they add the other methods, converters will very probably become *the*
supply method for those IO's, and stay that way (barring any other changes)
for the forseeable future.

Most folks dumped those IO's a few weeks back before I-22 released.

Sorry you got stuck with yours - that said, if you have a toon that could use them,
you won't be losing much (now) to slot them.

If you're insistent about selling them, do it now (before the next patch), while
they're still worth a few hundred million, because, I'll wager prices will drop further
when that goes live...

I wish the markets had real time streaming quotes just so I could sit back and watch the fireworks on the day the alignment merit patch goes in.

At least they had the foresight to throttle alignment merit-based converters to 1 purchase per 20 hours per character. Won't help with the glut of astrals and empyreans, though.

Also won't help when Mecha-TopDoc simultaneously logs in his 3893 farming alts and the alignment vendor explodes.

I've heard topdoc has 6 alts that can form a robot with a giant, market-cleaving sword.
