Map: Unknown

Playing Tough Luck Sam, 29 nrg/dev hero blaster (@NC Thunderbird, on Justice), in the last section of Drowning In Blood, at the AV (first had spawned, second hadn't yet). Lost Connection To Map Server comes up and eventually dumps me out.

Try to log back in, able to sign in, go to server, select toon, but then told that Sam is still logging out. OK, hum Jeopardy 30-sec ditty, try again, still logging out. Try again, still logging out, then checked to see if I needed to switch toons to give it a chance to reset.

Selected a different toon, one I had played this afternoon, but told Map Unknown. Once I log back in again, check map indicator under toon on character selection page, says Map: Unknown, both for Sam and 2nd toon checked. Switch servers, also Map: Unknown, switch to #2 account, same issue both on Justice and others. Fully exit out of City program, restart, same issues.

Anybody else getting this? Any word on what this is?

Lots of people on multiple servers. They're working on the problem right now.

Yep, I'm getting the same issue. I logged into a Warshade around 1:00pm EST to blow my monthly stipend, logged out and no problem. Trying to log in right now, I'm getting MAP: UNKNOWN on all of my characters on two accounts.

Premium accounts can't edit signatures.
Huh.

A Monday after Daylight Savings Time...so double bad. I also witnessed a traffic accident today, Monday after DST is suppose to be one of the worst for accidents, certainly seems true!

yah sent zwill a message about this....

its not all servers....at least it isnt for alot of people...

I am able to acess liberty and freedom for example....and my characters onthose servers dont have the unknown map error.

other servers for me do though....

And on a differing thread seams people are able to access differing servers and for them liberty and freedom are down....

so i am thinking....go through...check the servers...if you have nothing else cerated anywhere...make a new character....get to galaxy...send in a petition....

that used to go to the online GMs not sure if it still does.....if it doesnt....wow they need to fix that...i am thinking it probably doesnt anymore since last time i sent petitions they never responded until a week later.

I remeber when they would respond in a like an hour, and actualy go intothe game and help people....times sure have changed.

Eh - daylight saving is the last Sunday in March/October or is the US applying it on a different date to everywhere else again.

I didn't think anybody outside the US used that dumb system(I believe it was only the US that did it, last I heard) because we in the US hate it(at least in March when we lose sleep) and it isn't even useful anymore since we're no longer limited to working daylight hours like 150 years ago.

I kinda like it because otherwise, in late June/early July, the sun would rise at like 4:30 in the morning for people in the extreme eastern side of their respective time zone.

It's still antiquated now.

The only reason I can think of for why people keep it up is because we're accustomed to it.
But that reason is silly when you consider that we are not under DST for a rather large chunk or the year. We're both accustomed to having it and not having it.
