SS/FA runs Lib pretty well - it's not just for AE after all - and realistically anything that you're running the same content with will start to get boring after a while.
If you want something different more power to you, but with the described end goal I think you'll just get bored with the new character once it's built also.

Thats not really it, i have just had it for sooooo long. I want to try something new, but i enjoy doing the lib farm because i can usually get at least 1 purple a day. Which is only a few runs solo. Its just getting to the point of mind numbing, thats why i want to try something new. So since alphas came out didnt know if someone has come up with something new yet that could do it. Maybe SS/Elec or invuln brutes. Tanks dont do enough damage for me and scrappers seem like they arent strong enough.

I ran Brutes for years. I am now on a Elec/Elec/Mu Scrapper. I dont think it does quite as much AoE as a SS/FA Brute, but it does a lot. And it is very very survivable. (softcap S/L def, some purp sets, season to taste) I ran a SS/FA Brute for awhile, built for Recharge rather than armor, and he was crazy fun, but a little squishy.

Hmm you could probably run a mastermind at x8 demons/thugs/bot, probably traps/dark/time.
Sorry if not the direction you wanted but it seemed you wanted something new that could melt large spawns safely and most of those should work. Wont guarantee they're all as fast but honestly taking a few minutes longer and having more fun sounds like a good trade to me.

SoA (so many different builds to choose from here, you can swap builds between map clears for variety)

A friend enjoys farming with a Time/Beam Def.
I've seem some Beamer Blasters that can farm quite well, too. I think both Time and Beam are just rock solid sets.

Is the Unai demon farm no longer available? I never liked it much so I stopped taking it, but I swore that I heard someone on my server channel just this past week comment that they just unlocked "the demon farm" and couldnt wait to get started. Or did I hear incorrectly?
Also, you listed Battle Maiden as still being available, but I swore that it had changed for the worse somehow. Is it still available to new characters?
Are there any good farms you can make from simple door missions? Like maybe a scanner/radio mission set in one of those big boat cargo holds? Or a lucky office layout? Just wondering.

Unai Kemen's 2nd mish is the Council Empire farm: Open map (The close portals map from Dr Khan TF) S/L enemies, easy to farm
Harvey Maylor's Demon farm: Open map, easy to farm - just have to be careful not to complete it.
Maria Jenkin's Battle Maiden farm: The old farm map is available still but you have to go through the arc once and hope the next time through gives you the old map, do it a few times and you should get the old style farm map, easy to farm - don'd click the glowie but can kill the AV

Also, is Unai's first map well suited to normal farming? Or what builds would farm it well? Do BP do mainly psi damage and smashing/lethal?

I run a sheild/elec brute.
Its totally pimped out. And i run almost always the dreck map farm
Is there something faster. I run it at lvl 50 and im +3(+1 on this map) but really I am 2 hitting mobs.
What could be faster than killing 16 in two hits.
with a perma hasten what could possible be better?

edit: Actually Black Assassin reminded me of something, it might have been from Harvey not Unai, I can't remember, either way it was removed from the game so the above still applies.
Before they revamped Maria, she offered 2 missions on the outdoor warrior map. 1 was Battle Maiden and the other was diffuse 15 Bombs. The new versions of those missions (I forget if there is one or two, but there is at least 1) use the same map with the same enemy group with the same spawn placements. Except in one of them you get statesman as an ally at the start of the map, which actually makes it superior if you don't mind his knockback or have a way to prevent it, he's great for fire/kins that run that map since fire cages prevents his knockback and they get alot of mileage out of his fulcrum shifted damage.

Unless they removed the demon farm in the last month you can still get it from Harvey. You can still go villain & come back to hero & still keep the demon farm mish from Harvey. Did it about 4 weeks ago on my wp/stone tank.
So a couple days ago I posted in the brute forums that I wanted to make a new brute... An all around brute. Only to think about the fact /fa brutes run ae pretty quickly. I'm getting bored with running a ss/fa and want to do something new. I have always had good luck with getting purples on the liberate the television map and would like something that could run it pretty easily. Or if anyone knows a different farm and a good at set duo I'm always willing to do some other map. Money is not an issue and I would like to make this into my primary character. A lot of farming and a good amount of ae time. All input is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
