Minimalist Hero Illustrations

I've done a few of these now so I figured I would share them here. These were all heavily inspired by the works of blo0p on deviantart.

I've been in the process of making some fun minimalist posters for my current supergroup, The Challengers. These were all done in Adobe Illustrator with some minor work done in Photoshop to add depth and texture.

These link to DA and the larger version

Azure Tracer

Red-Havok

Xanatos

Human Flashbulb

I must say, the way you make them look like a poster, something that is posted on a wall or such, is just awesome!
It's like minimalist, but such a great attention to detail.

Ok, i know mine isn't as good looking as yours, but.. here goes:

I like em! While I don't know the characters, it just feels like the posters convey enough to give you a hint about them.

That's not bad for just using paint!

If you're interested in trying out illustration there are a couple free illustrator style programs that will let you do vector art like what I'm doing in illustrator. I've never used them though so I can't really speak to how good they may be.

I have a tablet but I prefer to do my vector work by mouse, so you definitely don't need any special tools to do this.

That's what I've been trying to go for, which is a bit of a challenge when also trying to keep them as simple as possible.
