You know what I miss?

Well, besides The Olden Days, where Everything was Fresh and New and Exciting and Unknown and Stuff.

No, what I miss? Is in the character creator... I miss the green bubbly proto-goo-person that was in it. This silvery mercurial proto-person isn't... well, I guess, quite as cool, IMO. Probably just me, though.

/Also, I would like to be able to use the green bubbly goo as an actual character base/costume. That'd be *cool*.

Luckily, the way the game is set up, you almost never have to look at them. All you have to do from that screen is pick a model - which is a quick choice - and set up your height. Every other Slider alteration you can do from the costume editor... And you probably SHOULD do from your costume editor so you can see how it impacts your actual costume, rather than just your basic body shape.

The goo person still somewhat exists if you're making an AE custom. Due some sort of overlay quirk, the silver mercury guy has the bubbles and glow from the goo guy.

Yes, I've asked for that so many times. There are even precedents in comics with that look. Hopefully one day!

Hey guys, did you know there's a fetish for this?

There's a fetish for bubbly goo people?

No, I didn't know. But I kind of did know, too, because if there's one one thing the Internet has taught me, it's that there's a fetish for every person and there's a person for every fetish. Something I can never unlearn.

I liked the goo person, but he had his season. I like the silver proto-person too. Stop living in the past, people! The silver proto-person's time has come, and not a moment too soon, with the Battalion upon our blue marble's horizon (*COUGH*)!

//I'm sure I'm missing some superiffic awesomesauce reference there, but I'm pondering wistfully, so I can't hear it right now.

My thought on the thread title was "Whatever I attack next after using a yellow inspiration".

And Captain Elec - that's Rule #34

My bad, that is 36 ("There IS a fetish for <topic>"), not 34. Although 34 states that there are videos of people indulging in 36, basically.

I'll agree; I kind of liked the green-goo people.

I for one wouldn't mind a misadventure with a goo-girl

Even if my hubby refers to it as my desire for jello.

Irony of ironies ... I actually miss the Hero/Villain music of old during the character selection and creation screens than I do the bubble goo avatar model. I kinda wish we weren't always listening to the same Gold-side theme like we are now before getting logged into our characters, and instead rotated among the Blue, Gold, Red music themes so that we aren't confronted with Eternal Sameness of Theme Music.

It's the end. But the moment has been prepared for ...

Um... that's not the Going Rogue music. It's a new composition for Freedom. GR's music sounded completely different.
