It's okay though, the boys will get used to the discrimination so that it ceases to bother them.

That's an amazingly smart little girl (assuming she wasn't coached). Actually thought this same thing when trying to figure out what to buy my niece for Christmas.

There's superhero stuff in the pink section, or there was last time I was at Toys "Я" Us.

I like that the "dolls" section is easy to spot. No one wants to accidentally wander into the creepy-staring-babies section.

So.. she's upset because of the color pink, or what? Boys and girls can buy both, whichever they want to get. Not sure what her adorable speech is going on about besides repeating what her parents taught her.

It's never a bad thing for the next generation of feminists to start early

We're going to have to agree to disagree on that one.

Well, it'd be a mistake to think that with all the massive improvements we've had in equallity in the past century, the fight against patriarchy is won - there are still quite a few areas of society that need to be improved further, so keeping children aware of the remaining problems of gender inequality is important to help them carry on making society better when they grow up.

Pink boxes for dolls are hardly a "problem".

I really don't see a problem here besides probably the long standing figure of pink = girl, blue = boy

Store isles will always be categorized. If they weren't, taking inventory would be a even bigger nuisance than it already is.

If you're a guy, then you probably haven't noticed that parts of society is still balanced in your favor - but once we've broken those down, you'll wonder how you could ever have missed spotting them

For example, just look at women in the workplace and having their own careers - a hundred years ago, our job and career options were so limited, but now, we can do anything, and if someone form a hundred years ago saw us today, they'd be totally shocked at how far we've come, and how society has changed and improved for both genders.

I like the color pink - but it's good for children to be aware of gender bias, otherwise, they can grow up to accept it as something normal.

Do explain how pink boxes imbalance society. Frankenberry wants to know. He thinks you're prejudiced against him.

Remember, kids: feminism is not the same as misandry.

'I don't like the look of it at all,' said the King: 'however, it may kiss my hand if it likes.'
'I'd rather not,' the Cat remarked.
'Don't be impertinent,' said the King, 'and don't look at me like that!' He got behind Alice as he spoke.
'A cat may look at a king,' said Alice.

Until we become homogenous beings that lack the general characteristic differences of gender, a certain amount of bias will always be normal. The trick is getting to the point where we acknowledge differences without either forcing limitations based on a perception of them or trying to sweep them under the rug for fear that they make us unequal.

fix'd for balance.

Although the opposite is much more frequent - anti-feminists hate women.
