Stat by Stat

Defense / -tohit: Sick and WRONG (dark, storm, FF, time)
Damage: SICK - some damage buff from temporal selection - we still need our top tier pets (All types of damage dealt except maybe psy,and good mix of melee and range attacks)
Resistance: Very Sick (Demon aura, sonic shields, thermal shields, steamy mist, and shadow fall)
Mezz protection: We were running with a sonic AND an FF dispersion, aka no stunned/held/immobile pets
Speed debuff/-recharge: Sick and WRONG ( 2 snowstorms, 2 freezing rains, and a time MM)
Damage Debuff: Sick - time juncture and darkest night took a nice bite out of that. (Another reason that Babbage and Clockwork King were pushovers.)
Resistance/Defense Debuff: SICK and WRONG - Freezing Rain, Tar Patch, Thugs gunfire, Sonic disruption, sonic siphon)

Looking at that, yes we can run +4

I am still in favor of a weekend gaming session, especially so our EU contingent does not have to stay awake until 5AM their local time to finish a rousing TF . Informally, and non-repeating style, I am suggesting 4PM EST on Sunday. I hope our new affiliate from Der Nederlands is able to join.

Yes we can roll over almost anything, but we do have a few weak spots. Fighting +4 mobs is one of them. Remember your lowest tier pets are -2 from level 18 on, so they would be fighting +6 mobs. That means they do about 15% of normal damage. Tactics and Defense debuffs can't counteract the +6 level modifier, so they'll only hit about 39% of the time when slotted with 2 Accuracy SOs. That means they'll do about 1/17 of their normal damage. Tier 2 pets will do 1/7 of their normal damage, while Tier 1 pets will do about 1/3. The most efficient is probably fighting +1 mobs, with sidekicks fighting +2.

AoEs are a sore spot, as mobs don't usually have target limits on their attacks. A single Fireball can hit all 8 Masterminds and their 48 Henchmen, plus any Gang War or Living Hellfire in range. We'll have to rely on team Defense and Resistance.

Our henchmen use mob AI, and that's strange when it comes to Location AoEs. I think some henchmen will stand around in burn patches and melt, while caltrops can make the mobs run around like chickens with their heads cut off and not attack.

You are right TopDoc, and clockwork are different from Tsoo (with caltrops) and Freakshow, with grenade launchers.

I have often joked that one of the reasons the Devs don't improve the Pet AI is that they'd have to nerf the AT.

Imagine Pets that Stayed when told to do so, but could still attack. Imagine Pets that were 'leashed' to run to the limit of Supremacy range and then STOP. Imagine melee Pets who closed to melee while ranged Pets stayed at range.

Give me these three things for MM Pets and I will rule the world.

Sadly I don't have the option to play during most weekends... And 4PM is still 10PM over here

And the Friday-Saturday team went well. I got my bots/time toon from almost 13 to almost 28. We ran a Synapse followed by a Sister Psyche.

Because of work, I will not be able to make in to either of the next 2 Wednesdays(11th)(18th), or the next Friday(13th). The Friday(20th) after than I get off at 8pm(cent) so I might be able to get a bit of play time in. The next week and a half(21st-31st) I'm on vacation, so I'll try to make both runs.

Is there any interest in a Monday evening/night game. I know Comicsluvr can't make it then, but Monday is my only guaranteed free night. If you are interested, sign up below.

The experiences are getting better and better. My mastermind went from level 21 to level 26 just on the Synapse. We easily cranked out the content with 8 people. Due to levels we were restricted to 8 on the Synapse, but there were nine of us interested in the all MM experience. I would gladly run 2 teams (with 4 and 5) cranking up the spawn size than leave people out. The leveling pace for the MMs in the teens levels was amazing running higher level tip missions.

Sorry for bailing mid TF Friday. My computer decided to take a dump and after an hour trying to get it working I threw my hands up in frustration and went to bed. I'll try and be there today 4. It's been a blast for sure.

I was talking with one of my friends who used to do the original MM Mondays with me Redside and he was pleased at the response to this. He commented on the all-MM TFs and iTrials in our future. I mentioned the iTrial concerns from non-MM players (we seem to die a lot) and I wanted to ask the Forum how they feel.

Given that an all-MM iTrial could have as many as 16 Leaderships running, up to 8 FFs and/or 8 Sonic/Thermals, plus the numerous toggle debuffs and team click buff how do you all think we'd do on a BAF or Lamda?

Not that I've read about all-MM ITFs and so forth so being able to do those doesn't really worry me. The iTrials are a whole new level however.

They would be quite easy IMO. I do want to try an all MM Lambda. We would not collect acid or grenades and just beat Marauder down. I think we would be successful at that too.

I've heard all sorts of stories about the Incarnate Beta and many things that have come after like the 3-person ITF and the 7-person Mothership Raid.

Never have I hear of an all-MM ITF or iTrial. The ITF has likely happened but I simply didn't see the post. But imagine being the FIRST to do an all-MM iTrial. Imagine the bragging rights...the sense of accomplishment. Imagine what news of that would do to the MM AT.

Might start a trend...

I unlocked the Katie Hannon TF and would like to try an all MM run. It's lvl 30-34, 9 merits. Great xp for such a short TF (4 missions). The KB will be annoying but with all the Tactics, we should not have a lot of trouble hitting.

Is there a way to release a single pet? I only know /releasepets but of course that drops all of them.

I suggest we also do 5 tips this week, so next week we can do 5 more, confirm Hero, and do SSAs. Since we meet every week, it makes sense to start with a quick SSA each week after that for a Hero Merit.

Great run today, finished Sister Psych and Katie Hannon TFs. Both went very smooth. I was a little bummed I forgot to raise the difficulty for the KHTF. Everyone probably would have gained an extra level or 2 if I did. Even the final Mary MacComber at level 37 was a breeze, would have been more fun if they were all consistently 38.

I propose we run it again this weekend and knockoff the Citadel or Manticore TF as well.

I will be available evenings this weekend and may go for that. Of course I need to start using common IOs on my post-27 toons...out-leveling SOs every night is no fun lol.

Btw the Katie Hannon was the easiest I've ever seen.

We should start thinking about accolade nights perhaps to make sure everyone gets the missions they need?

I collected the plaques/badge markers so many times that I have them memorized. If anyone wants to do a Paragon City tour to get all relevant plaques/markers for the AM, FPRM and PJ accolades, let me know. It would take about 20 minutes as long as everyone has a travel power. Recall Friend, Assemble Team, Ouroboros portal, WW TP or Pocket D TP would be gravy.

Another great night last night with the Moonfire TF (rapidly becoming my fave mid-level since it's all from the same map except for Fed-Ex missions). Great for the hunt badges for Vampiri and War Wolves. We only had 4 MMs at start so we opened it up to a Defender, a Brute, a Scrapper and a Blaster who all seemed to be having a good time. I received several tels about 'Wow running with 4 of you guys is insane!' and so forth.

Now a question for the panel: My Ninja/Storm just got Tornado last night. I've never had a character with this particular power and I'm wondering how to slot it. According to Mids it does 400 damage base and has only 60s recharge but it also takes the -Def set (which I love). Suggestions?

Mr. Twisty is one of the strongest damage dealers that a support/MM AT gets. To get the full 400 points of damage, it has to stick to a target that resists knockback. Tornado, amazingly, does no repel. On a character like an earth/storm, having 3 tornadoes simultaneously and perma means a lot of damage. Of course some targets have natural kb resistance like the paragon protectors. Other targets, Freak tanks come to mind, you can bounce on top of a tornado while holding them in a corner. Certain maps, especially 5th/Council, your tornado can rip through all the close groups and then come back to the caster, spilling them like bowling pins, stunned, debuffed, and damaged.

There are some good procs you can use in tornado. For purple builds, using two or three of the stun enhancers is very nice. For a mastermind, the first question is: can I slot the recharge intensive pet bonuses. Thugs, demons, and necros get the level 18 power you can slot those bonus in, but if you are running bots, ninja, mercs, tornado should be knee-jerk pet bonus holder. Actually the recharge intensive pet sets are good for tornado since you get good damage and recharge. Global recharge bonuses are good for pet resummons, and also more tornadoes and lightning storms. You will never have enough lightning storms.
