Why do pets keep getting stuck?
1) Because pets are stupid.

They did fix them, it used to be worse.
Honestly expect never and be happy when you see them fix it the day before they shut down the game servers.

I usually get my pets stuck at Keyes entrance, where neither being teleported nor dismissing and resummoning them works, I had to die and go hosp, which is quite easy for a petless MM.
But in other zones, I have no problems.

Use the /release_pets command rather than dismissing them and you should be able to re-summon as normal.

I actually had this happen in the last mission of Who Will Die 4. Luckily, one of my Battle Drones managed to accidentally die somehow (I'm assuming there was some AOE going on) and I was able to resummon and have one pet for that mission. I didn't know I could die and reset them, or I would have done so. I thought I'd have to log out to correct it. Still won though, even with just one of my tier 1 henchmen.

The last mission of the WWD arc #4 seems to be pretty consistent at causing the pet bug (sometimes TWICE)

/releasepets works fine, honestly. Its annoying but if you use that its not a huge deal anymore, it'll always be at a mission entrance after all.
As a bonus... if your a Necro/ you can use soul extraction on them Sort of eases the annoyance.
As an avid MM player, I've got a pre-formatted /bug for this, simply copy/pasted each time and filling in the zones I was traveling between when it occurred.

remember when pets DIDNT zone with you and you had to respawn them EVERYTIME you went somewhere.
and then after respawning them you had to BUFF EACH ONE INDIVIDUALLY!!!!!!!
now we are pampered with zoning pets and aoe buffs.
ahhh the good ole days......

As for the individual buffing..when that was announced, I also argued against it. My necro poison MM, the zombies die SO easy, the it was odd if I was not resummoning and rebuffing at least one zombie every few mobs. That, with the single, low cost pet upgrades, was fine. Oh, and you would not get the lag/gfx from the upgrades. But then, after the changes, if I wanted to rez one zombie and buff him, it would cost the same end as if I was buffing them all.
Said it before, say it again. Why can't we have the upgrades cost End proportionate to the number of henchmen they are working on, not just hit.
Great argument though..'pampered' with zoning pets and aoe buffs? Maybe some other MMs can comment...does ANYONE remember their pets bugging out like this, before the changes? Cause I sure don't.
