Dear Warburg on INF from Sarita Shy

I play Sarita Shy on Infinity and have a few comments to the pinks out there who obviously have something to say to me.

First... Warburg is a PVP zone. Period. You enter the zone and are shown a warning. The warning tells you it's pvp and free for all.
Second... Going AFK for hours at a time in a PVP zone is not smart. Please do not get mad if your characters are dead when you get back.
Third... PVP farming is cheating, no two or three ways around it. You are simply cheating. How dare you get mad at me for killing you when YOU are the one cheating. How dare you threaten me in game in anyway, be it dev notification for killing you, kicking me from a channel or whatever. What gives you the right to farm(cheat the game) and demand you be left alone?

Do not tell me to go to Freedom to pvp. My home is Infinity. To this I say, YOU go to a slower server yourself.
Do not call me a ganker. YOU are the one going afk for hours. YOu are the ones cheating the game.
How come others that I play with in warburg and I get along fine. I announce myself when in zone. I don't normally keep wiping you out. And I rarely kill characters getting techs. IF I do I let you kill me right back to get your chip back.
I have no problem fighting you face to face either.
I DO NOT brag so where ever that came from is complete bs and you know it.
I have said I like "presents" and I would leave you alone to your cheating and was told I was blackmailing you. Are you serious???? Really??

Come out of hiding and post me here to voice your displeasure with me. Do not go in game and tell folkes something that is twisted and not true so that I have to here it second and third hand.

I do not attack everyone all the time either so why all the crying? Why are people I have never attacked in Warburg getting on my case? Why are my ex's friends getting on his case? What is wrong with you all?

I would've been thrilled to bump into an opponent in Warburg on one of my nuke runs... I'd either win or get a shortcut back to the exit

I too wish there were more PvP on Infinity.

Not necessarily ganking people who go for temp powers, but true PvP. You sound like a reasonable person in that regards. Few I have seen leave the gatherers alone (or let them get their codes back).

I ran into the exact same problem as the OP, only I was kicked from the channel and as far as I know actually reported too. (lolz) Just for the record, it is NOT all of "The Pinks" SG or global channel. It is a very few select people that think they are the supreme gods of CoH. Threre actually are a decent amount of people in "Pinks" that will PvP, or actually accept the fact that if you enter a PvP zone, there is the possibility that you will be killed by another person.

If you have any problem with someone from "The Pinks" whether it be the SG or someone from the global channel, talk to nightbabe. She is the person who originally started Pinks, and is one of the coolest people in the game. Always ready to help someone out.

Other than that OP, keep on fighting the good fight. If tehr eis someone in a PvP zone, kill them.

You are right Stoney, there are many good players from that channel. I have been in the pvp zones with a few that "get it" and realize where they are and do not get crazy mad when they died after we fight. I have chatted with them and everything is good between them and me. Heck, I leave them alone most of the time now because they were nice and understood they were in a pvp zone.

What really makes me mad are the other ones from that channel who were not there in the pvp zone, nor have I EVER fought them in pvp or attacked them, but they broadcast on that channel as if they were there and know exactly what happened. Like I attacked them. They only take the word of a mad farmer who makes it sounds much worse then it was. They take that channel as a platform to call me "ganker" and say other things about me that are simply not true. Yet they say nothing about exploiting the game, which is an account suspending offense, that their pvp farmer friends are doing by farming pvp recipes. And it is an exploit because you have to trick the game in order to not go afk. I here nothing about that at all. As long as they or their friends benefit it is all ok and it is ok to bash me. This Nightbabe person is one of them that broadcast things on that channel when she was not there nor did she ever fight me at all, but had to say some words on the matter. Warning people of me being in that zone is no problem at all, but when you start sheading a bad light by what you say on a player through your channel without having a clue yourself because you were not there is just wrong.

I not only attack farmers but players there hunting me. I go face to face all the time and no one else complains. No on else says anything but "good fight". I chat all the time in Warburg in broadcast but they make it sound like I hide and only attack afk players etc, etc. I am just so tired of hypocritical comments that I see and my ex sees. People that are not involved should simply shut up. Beyond that I have no problem at all. : D

Anyway I have a new stalker to kill with. I will be playing Sarita Deadly from now on.

Sounds like Infinity WB has some things going on...be it AFK farmers or actual PvPers. Looks like Ill be sending a toon over to scout it out b/c we all need another source of PvP IO drops.

If you want to see some real drama and people that run their mouths all day, hit up Freedom if you havent already...it will make Infinity seem like Romper Room in comparison.

i am a member of the pinks global chat and i am not a farmer nor have i complaind to anyone about you, your ex or either of your playing styles, i think the pinks rock and am honnerd to be a part of them all the players ive come accros there have been kind helpfull and generous. I'm too lazy to farm, I exploit the markets.

That said if you get killed in a PvP zone, fine it's a PvP zone. If you want to AFK farm, find a better hiding spot.

If the devs really wanted to "fix" this, they'd just need to remove the no AFK timeout while on TF/Flashback mechanism.

Pardon me I'm still trying to wrap my head around a SG named "The Pinks"

I'm a member of the pinks & they are great people to be friends
with from my experiences .. and to Turbo: I may can help you
with the name (and 'the pinks' I know is a channel, not an SG).
Please correct me if I'm mispeaking nightbabe, but the pinks
is named after the color pink, as it's a warm & friendly colour.
Everyone on the channel makes a concerted effort to be
friendly & helpful .. and thusly warm!

As far as PvP goes, I love some good pvp action once in a while.
Similar to others here, I would consider myself to be a 'considerate
ganker' & duelist. I will give chips back/wait till your done ..
Have to admit, I do at times enjoy a little 'Loki-esque ganking'
.. You know: "oops, beggin' your pardon, i was just stalking
here .." But as I said, I will give chips back/apologize if
necessary/and leave them alone .. unless they are glad to find
pvp action & want to play If I am going to make trouble for
a group in pvp .. well for firstly: it's a great adrenalin rush to have
the group turn on you & try to stop you; but secondly: I will never
mess with a group so much that I endanger their mission. I'll poke
at em a couple times, then leave em alone & wish them luck.

Also, if I gank someone & they are upset, had a bad day,
whatever .. and they are extra upset at me, I would probably
just be extra apologetic & make a note on the toon that they
reeeeaally don't like being ganked. (Yes, there are a few
people that I have had to do that with). What I probably
wouldn't do though was start a thread .. complaining ..
about people getting upset & having complained about
the gank. But imho n' all .. that's just me.
Keep gamin' all, & help others when you can!

• You're in a PvP Zone, guess what's going to happen eventually? I know...it's shocking!
• You're AFK farming in a PvP Zone, not my fault you didn't find a good hiding spot.
• The only real cheating in this game that can be done is by using scripts (using things like scripts can get you banned) that prevent you from AFK logging out. Since they introduced Ouroboros, scripts are no longer necessary.
• Farming isn't cheating, implying anything like that is just stupid.
• Calling people out on the forums is against the rules.
