I just want to make a quick point about my participation for this year's event, as sort of an FYI:

Due to my condition (Vahzilok Wasting Plague, I curse you!!!), there's pretty much no way I can do 4 hours straight. If I did, you'd have zombie-DC by the end of it. So whoever does end up purchasing my time, we'll have to work out various days to do 1-2 hours at a time.

Also, to quickly point out strengths and weaknesses: TF's are my friends. I'm very good at speed Synapses or old Posi's, if you're interested in those. I enjoy running just about all of them, even Q on a very off day (though, with the 4 hour struggle, we'd either have to split it up or you get zombie-DC) On the other side, I'm no good at PL'ing. I have no idea what the active interest is in AE, and my idea of farming is running Borea in RWZ, which can get boring. Yes I have a fire/kin, but she's going to sit on the sideline.

Finally, PVP. In the past I would have said 'no' straight away. However, it has come to my attention that PVP will not be removed from this game any time soon, so.. oh well. I am horrible at it, and my own personal opinion is that hopping around like a rabbit to get 2 shots off in 10 minutes is a waste of time, but I will do it if that's what is decided. List of slotted 50s available on request for that.

Anyway, apart from all that, I just want to say a big 'Thank You' to MP for putting this on again this year. It's great fun watching the bids and the silly amounts of cash that we Victorians love to throw around. And hey, half of it all goes to the PERC fund, which means more gifts/toys for other events, like the Hami raid costumes or other contests.

Could always join the 2 hours only club like me.

I plan on attending tomorrow, however Mrs. Cylert may have other plans, so I'll run down a quick list of strengths and weakness as well.

Strengths:
1) I'm pretty laid back and will run whatever you want
2) I'll run any taskforce, like DC, I love them.
3) I know my way around WW and the market pretty well. If you farm for all your inf, I can probably teach you a much easier way.
4) I'll go for way less then Masque and MP


Weakness:
1) PVP- Think I did it once, however if you want to farm me for drops, I'm game...You pay, I'll play.
2) Redside- I don't play redside alot, but have several toons. I'll have no issues redside, just don't know my way around as well as blueside.
3) Schedule- I play quite a bit and am available pretty often, but often in hour or 2 increments. If you are looking for someone to run Dr. Q with you, I'm not that guy.
4) I'm not Masque or MP

/em considers bidding on MP and then requiring her to do things you shouldn't do on taskforces and trials. Click the glowies in BAF and Apex. Stand in the green stuff and the blue stuff. Fight through the mobs in the Treespec instead of one person stealthing to the end and teleporting. Use /follow on the tank, put Radiant Aura on auto, and use no other powers while periodically telling people "I'm just here as a healer." She'd go insane in no time flat, MUHAHAHA.

The Auction went incredibly well! All in all there were over 40 billion inf placed in bids!!! I will have grand totals up in a bit!

I had a blast being outbid on well a lot of stuff.

However, still managed to spend about 1.7 bil.

Already done some work on my Rocketman purchase, I'm just scared to see what Cylert has in store for me...

I missed it 'cause my stupid internet was down for just over 12 hours (down at 9am cst till around 9:30pm cst). I mean I wouldn't have bid on anything (no money ) but I would have been there.

For those that buy a spot in the Master of "x".

How they will get it?
I don't see any explanation of when or who will run it. Do we have to get it at a especific time or there is a way to get it in our free time?

I came to event to watch. It was awesome to see everyone gathered. Just have a question. I didn't want to interrupt anyone during event. How will I know if any help is needed for future events?

So... what were the results? I wasn't able to be around during it, but it's always fun to see where things ended up. Sounds like Justaris bought me for some AE feedback, which I'm more than happy to do.

Just glad Masque didn't buy me to do PVP like he said last night. I don't mind PVP in some games, but it's not really my cup of tea here in CoH.

I actually would never force anyone to pvp. I think that is the best way to make sure someone NEVER pvps again.

As far as the people(person?) I 'bought' I pretty much will do like I've done that last 2 years, send MP a tell saying that they have met their 4 hour obligation and let them off the hook.

If they want to help me run TFs or accolades teams for pvp events that is always appreicated but I wouldn't want to force anyone to do something they hate during their play time.
