Have you been into a PVP zone? I'm sure you have and i'm sure you realize most pvpers have no idea what spiking means let alone how to actually pull it off.

You really don't see the issue with incarnate powers in PvP?

Every AT can get a massive heal, long lasting DoT proc damage, pets that do PvE damage in PvP, nukes for everyone (including tanks and scrapper- sucks to be you MMs).

Thats just one side of the issue, the other is the flip of the old:

"why do I have to go to pvp zones to get my badges?"

I would say:

"Why do I have to PvE to get my super PvP powers?"

Not only do incarnates sort of make it necessary to run itrials, when they release new versions of powers (look at lore) and they are much better than the old ones you have to run the trials all over again to build up that new power set.

Also Kat not sure if you understood what I ment by broken powers: I was thinking of things like Ninja run when it was unsupressed SJ in PvP or Poison Ray when you could stack its -res up to 40%, things like the level of spirit shark would fall into the last category I said, "other stuff" because while yeah sharks are pretty over powered, they aren't really broken.

You guys are arguing like it's going to get fixed if you can agree with each other. It won't.

Oh okay, yeah I guess I didn't catch that. So that would include things like the placate proc and stuff, which I agree those should be fixed because they are 100% broken.

Also, I don't necessarily think Incarnates should be removed from PvP, I think that would do more harm then good. I think they should be a lot less effective in PvP, but I highly doubt that the developers have the ability to balance Incarnates as they have shown little ability to balance anything else. I think if you removed them you would have a lot of angry people who actually did go out of their way to grind them out specifically for PvP, who would have just wasted a lot of time.

I can definitely see people QQing about how it ruins their build or something like that for whatever reason.
This.
The change was made for the game, that is PvE, not for the side game next to it called PvP. Good or bad, I don't think there's any chance that something in the game gets changed because of its effects in PvP.

But how about you get behind another suggestion that would also fix it: Raise the level of the PvP zones. Preferredly to 50 for SC or at least Warburg.
Doesn't really make much sense to have three out of four PvP zones dedicated to pre-level-45 PVP given how fast leveling has become, does it?

I would be onboard with WB being raised to level 50, although one of the reasons Sirens is used at all is because it's lower level, so I don't think that would be a good solution for Sirens. I think it would work for WB since nobody plays in WB simply because you can't use level 50 builds there, despite the FFA style being something that people have always liked, and a level 50 FFA zone has been a common request among PvPers for a while.

The devs intentionally made spirit sharks available at level 35. This means that any content 35 and above grants access to sharks. Siren's Call falls into this category.

Anyone saying that the devs didn't intend for this clearly don't understand what the words "game" and "changes" mean when used in unison.

I bet some (read: most) of the devs would not know the level range of the PvP zones if asked.

Of course it was intentional, but you can't truly believe they factored in PvP when they made these changes. Not that I blame them.
