So much to do, not enough levels
The variety of content is one of the things that keeps CoX interesting.
Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome.

In the last update I found a post of someone complaining that their main AT didn't get a new power like all the other ATs and it was sad to me because there is so much more to this game than just "new powersets." It's an entire unvierse that has limitless options; unlike playing the same thing over and over again.
And with as much content as we have now its tripled in the past year or so... With the addition of Praetotian content from level 1-30 now and the ability for any hero or villian to go to Pocket D and cross over all of that content can be accessed, on teams, by any player that has purchased Going Rogue. Add in the fact that a Vigilante or Rogue has the ability to cross over and team up, at any level, and run Red or Bliue content.
Essentially every Task Force, Strike Force, Trial and conatct mission is available to any player as long as they can find a team. I have had characters that did 5 newpaper missions and robber the bank Founder's Fall and then turned right around and did 5 radio missions and prevented the bank in FF from being robbed in the same night!
Heck even the special events have grown in size.. I can recall when you got to ToT and battle Eochia and Jack. Now we still have that but add in Banner event, which run all year long as well; zombie invasions, also running through out the year; The Malleus Mundi tip missions, which started last year and are back; and the new Dr. Zane haunted mansion trial that began this year. Of course the Winter event expanded as well.. Used to be we just went and opened packages and battled the occasional Winter Lord along with battling Snaptooth to rescue Baby New Year. Now we have missions to battle the Winter Lord in his own realm and can take out Lady Winter instead of Snaptooth or in addition to battling the Red Cap version of Scrooge!
Truthfully .. it isn't possible to do every single bit of content before hitting 50.. and that was before we could switch sides. And they continue to give us more to do.
Were always the good guys. In D&D, were lawful good. In City of Heroes were the heroes. In Grand Theft Auto we pay the prostitutes promptly and never hit them with a bat. Leonard
Those women are prostitutes? You said they were raising money for stem cell research! Sheldon
Not enough levels is right though. If only cause of late it seems most of the content being made outside of praetoria and the revamped starting zones is 20-30 stuff. And there's SO MUCH 20-30 stuff now that it's impossible to do it all. Which is fine. But then you get to 30, and suddenly there's next to nothing.
At 20-30 there's, and I'm probably missing some:
- 5 original story arcs/ sets of contact missions (Not sure if they're all proper arcs, ages since I've done the original stuff).
- 4 arcs in Striga
- 2 arcs in Croatoa
- 2 arcs in Faultline
- One signature arc.
- Seven or eight arcs in First Ward
- 2 doppelganger arcs (The ones in Talos)
- Roy Cooling's arc
For a total of 20 or so arcs in a ten level range. That's two arcs a level, which I suppose is doable if you solo all the time and stealth through anything that can be stealthed. And then you get to 30, and there's next to nothing. There's the five original contacts, the tail end of Croatoa, and the start of the Rikti Warzone. And that's it.
In short: Lower ranges have enough content, more 30-50 content please.

Haha, I always have trouble with the 20-30 range because of this! It's like... wow ... what am I going to spend these levels on? And there's that I almost always team, so levels just fly by.
One of my favorite things to do at 30 was the Ouroboros tfs. I can't think of his name right now, but the one with the goggles has a fun one. If you can manage to beat Nosferatu, then the rest is a cake walk, and the last fight against the 3 ebs/avs is a lot of fun. I always feel like a champ when I'm done. I usually solo it and use a ton of insps, but duoing them as AVs with a pair of emp/son was the ultimate badassery for me. Mainly because all the NPC dialogue makes it feel like you're actually fighting someone rather than just fighting a big red health bar.

I love that one. Dearly wish it had a badge attached.

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.
I was reflecting last night on how many options we now have while playing CoX. This is NOT a complaint. I love it. It's very hard to get bored because when I am bored of one thing, I just move onto something completely different. The only difficulty is that I have to be careful not to outlevel too much. I know I can ouros important arcs (like ones that open up TFs like Hess or Katie Hannon), but I don't enjoy those arcs so I prefer not to exemp down to do them.
I figure when I am on a toon, I have all the new low level arcs, the new (and new-ish) itrials, the new sig arcs, mothership raids, regular story arcs, any AE stories (not farms), newspaper missions, alignment missions, new Monster to fight (besides all of the old ones), SST means you can do almost anything with your friends, there's PVP (OK, yes, that was a joke), but when you are tired of all that, there are a myriad of TFs (how often do you get around to the Cavern Trial..?).
Just my two cents.
