I ran UG with you , was really well lead. I still think UG is a bit boring , to much trash to clear through but I will be trying to make it to more

I got my Scrapper into an UG Trial last night, I actually really enjoyed it. Not sure I enjoy Keyes, seems like more a test than in game fun, but UG was very good. Long, but very good. I think I might enjoy it more on my Defender, but we'll see.

I have tried about 4 times to get on these runs now and have been ignored each time by the leader James Donner/Bus.
I was invited one time but the I guess it wasn't by Bus because he became upset and said "no one ever adds people except him" and disbanded.
The leader is free to invite whoever he chooses and I have no problems with that in any way shape or form. Please just don't say anyone is welcome when clearly they are not and it has become mainly a private run for you and your friends.
I already have had problems trying to get a run on Pinnacle because people like CatAtomic have some sort of hidden grudge that I have no idea how or why it started but results in me getting ignored when asking for invites. I moved here hoping for something different and am running into the same result.
I just want to do runs, the 4 runs we have now once a day. I do what I'm told and don't make troubles but somehow it's not enough.
If anyone actually has a run where everyone is welcome, please let me know.

As far as the incident you are talking about. Yes I got upset. When I am getting tells from people and someone randomly starts inviting people when others are promised spots I have every right to get aggravated. And I have every right to ignore you afterwards.
That said, there are many folks who are very consistent about being in the RWZ when I start forming up. They know when I log in and I get hit with 5-10 tells very quickly about invites. I've actually had to start quitting my current leagues and reforming so that I can give more folks the chance to get on board.

Never a good idea to start grabbing whoever when your not the raid leader. Especially for a Keyes or Underground. And usually when a raid leader is organizing for such an event, they are looking for key builds. Regardless if JD invited friends or not, he may be looking for specific ATs required for the raid's success, and as he, or anyone raid leader, is searching, the league is filling up.
So now, all you've done is caused stigmata in the group, cuz someone or someones have to be booted. What's the point of doing the raid if you don't have the proper setup to complete it in the first place? I don't raid to fail.

JD picks up a lot of PuGers on his trial runs. Yes, there's usually a core group of people that he can rely on, but at least half of each trial is PuGers, I'd say.
You say you don't make troubles... but you did. You began inviting a bunch of random people to the trial without the trial leader's okie. That's not cool for a few reasons. One, that's just bad manners. Two, the trial leader may (and did), have those spots reserved for people that sent him tells prior. Three, some trials (Keyes and Underground in particular), require certain balances of ATs and powers for success. A PuG Keyes or Underground trial that is 80% meleers is going to fail.

Frankly its just rude to start tossing out invites to team when you are not League lead. If you have friends you want on team, just speak up or have them send the leader a tell for invite. Better yet, just ask if its cool.
As for how I add people. My SG gets first shot. They provide the core and team leads. Then its first come first serve to anyone else. That leaves at least 16 public spots on everything but Lam. I do first tell first spot unless we get overloaded with melee or are short on single target heals. If I don't think the team can do it, I won't run it. That's how I run UG, COP, Hami and everything else I've ever lead. If that's not fair enough for you I don't know what will be.

There are nights there that things seem very warm, and others when it is down right bitter, but that is how it goes regardless of who is running it. You, or who ever invited, didn't have nasty intentions to bring things crashing down, the inviter thought they were getting things filled up.
If you are interested, just keep showing up. Keep positive about it, keep a good outlook. You will get in plenty, trust me. On this server I don't know how many people I've seen that should have been kicked (especially for not listening on Keyes), but the leadership has been very patient with them.

As someone who was recently invited to a couple trials lead by James Donner, as a complete PuGer, I can't say I had any trouble getting invited. I simply showed up in zone a few minutes before the time advertised, waited for him to announce the trial in Broadcast and sent him a tell. Simple as that.
I'd also like to echo what others have said about it being a bad idea to invite people to someone else's league. As someone who leads a lot of trials, I recently ran into an issue where someone was advertising X number of spots available when in actuality it was full. It is important to realize that just because you see empty spaces in a league doesn't mean they're actually empty.
Examples of tells you will get all the time as a league leader are as follows:
--> I am switching toons. Save me a spot please.
--> My friend and I are just about finished this mission. Save 2 spots.
--> What's a Keyes?
--> Can I do this if I'm a free player?
--> I need 5 minutes then I can join.
--> Sorry I crashed. I need another invite.
--> AFK a few minutes, wife aggro.
--> In zone.
--> What do you want me to bring?
--> Still forming?
--> I'm new to trials. How do we do this one?
--> I have a Defender +2 with Rebirth, a Tanker +1 with Barrier, a Dom at 50 with IOs, a WS with... super cool looking purple powers. Which do you prefer?
--> Ready.
--> Sorry I need to drop. I need to go return some videotapes.
--> I'm ready but my friend couldn't make it.
--> I just realized I won't have time for this one.
--> Forgot I was in the queue. Send the invite again.
And so on and so forth. Point being, there's a lot that can be going on in tells while you're waiting. If things are really busy, it's easy to miss someone or miscalculate spots. Best thing is to be patient and don't take things too personally if you accidentally don't get invited.

The 2 upcoming Incarnate Trials are NOT PUG friendly. I know this for one and have heard it about the other. That is why the SG I am in builds runs with SG members first and adds experienced, level shifted players if there are any open spots.

However, the BAF and Lambda Trials were very PuG un-friendly when they first came out. Now most people can run BAFs and Lambda Trials in their sleep. The same is slowly happening to the Keyes Trial thanks to the Issue 21.5 nerfs and good leadership by those willing to try to lead Keyes Trials. I suspect the same will slowly happen with the upcoming trials as well.

For those interested I've been running a Nightly Keyes Trial at 10:30est.
I usually start forming up around 10:15 in RWZ. We've also been mixing in an UG after if folks are interested. Anyone is welcome, just keep an eye on the major Global channels for announcements.
