Saint Crispin's Day Speech

Have a fine Saint Crispin's Day!

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

And by a curious coincidence:

Half a league half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred:
'Forward, the Light Brigade!
Charge for the guns' he said:
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.

Excerpt from Charge of the Light Brigade by Alfred Lord Tennyson

We few, we happy few...

Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

In recognition of your strange holiday, I shall celebrate by watching the 2003 Willard!
And, perhaps, follow it with his performance in the animated Beowulf!

I've always enjoyed, as you say, Saint Crispin!
Glad to hear that he is widely recognized for his greatness!

Shakespeare for the win! Henry V is definitely one of my favorite histories.

That's always just a fantastic speech and Branagh did a great job with it. Also, the music just makes that scene.

One of my favorite scenes in a movie!

On another note, I already wished all my history geek friends a Happy Saint Crispin's Day over on FB, so now I will do the same for my super-powered friends here!

You're making me want to watch Danny Devito's Renaissance Man again. I haven't watched it in ages. I love the Crispin speach in it.

They all laughed at me when I said I wanted to be a comedian.
But I showed them, and nobody's laughing at me now!
