Once upon a time...not so Lost!
I watched it this morning on abc.com the show seems ok, but I am sorry to say this, I don't like Henry, yes I realize he is just a kid and he is bringing his mom into storybrook to save everyone and yes I realize that his adoptive mom is the evil queen, but I don't know something about him just erks me, I wonder since the father doesn't know about Henry if he will find out and since Emma did not get his signature for the adoption if he will ever show up in the show, he can then legally get Henry back since he did not sign anything.
Cancel the kitchen scraps for widows and lepers, no more merciful beheadings and call off christmas!
My wife and I watched it last night and really enjoyed it so far. She's a big Disney fan and I just like stories such as these. Seems like it could be a fun show.
The show appeals to me on so many levels it's amazing.
Living in fantasy about 90% of the time anyway, this show has already hooked me in, clubbed me violently over the head and taken my pelt. Er... you get what I mean.
Is Rumplestilkskin a good guy or a bad guy? Why does it seem as though he's the only one who wasn't completely affected by the Evil Queen's curse?
When will Charming come out of his coma and will he have any memories of before when he does?
The flipping of pages through the Once Upon a Time book showed scenes from Alice in Wonderland and several others... just how many fairy tales are we going to be seeing in this town?!
Fast forward button! Where the heck is the Universal Fast Forward button?!
My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw
My wife and I liked it, and plan to watch it, and lets be honest, its about the closest will see to Fables made into a TV series.
My concern? that it won't turn out like some other series that I liked intially in recent years, that the writters will get lost, and have no idea where to take the story( Heroes was bad in this way, although there have been more recent examples)
on the fence, but only because I haven't watched the show in its entirety (had stomach issues last night)
Is Robert Carlyle only trying out for "the heavy" or "the unlikeable" roles like Alan Rickman and Rutger Hauer seem to?
Still he makes an awesome manic Rumpelstiltskin.

"To die hating NCSoft for shutting down City of Heroes, that was Freedom."
To me it seems like he has his own agenda. Which jives with my seeing him as a fairy and not a part of either side.
I personally loved it, and can't wait to see where it goes...and am worried it won't last long if they're looking for LOST numbers.
I'm a big fan of the comic book Fables and the musical Into the Woods, so this is is right up my alley...and I admit I was cheering at the brief Moment of Badass when the Prince was getting his daughter to the wardrobe.
...The owner of the town is Rumplestiltskin? Crap, I was way off. That's probably going to be my favorite thing every week: figuring out who is from what story.

"See, this is what happens when you have to shove all this stuff into your pockets: it's easy to misplace a suborbital warhead." -Arcanaville, on how crowded our power trays are getting lately
Caught the pilot last night. Not a bad show, but, for some reason I just kept thinking about The Charmings the entire time.
You're not super until you put on The Cape!

I'll give it a couple more weeks, but I felt they gave away too much in the pilot. Would have rather seen the Fairy Tale history side of things slowly revealed as it developed instead of plopping it all down on the first outing.
Made me feel like they were afraid it wasn't going to be picked up so they wanted to get everything in. Now to see if Grimm delivers on NBC...
Craft your inventions in AE!!
Play "Crafter's Cafe" - Arc #487283. A 1 mission, NON-COMBAT AE arc with workable invention tables!
Enjoyed it as well. Let's hope it continues to deliver.
It was interesting I'll stick with it for a few more eps not sure how there going to drag it out for a whole season..
..an alternate take I put is the kid is just taking is stories a bit too far...
"And for us this is the end of all stories, and we can mostly say they lived happily ever after. But for them it was the beginning of the real story. All there life in this world and all there adventures in Narnia had only be the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of The Great Story which no one on earth has ever read: which goes on forever: in which every chapter is better than the one before" - C.S Lewis, The Last Battle.
It's not Fables and I really wish it was.
I'll still watch it though.

I happend to catch the premier last nite of ABC's new show and it was fairly decent. However knowing that two of Lost's writters were on board i was expecting a fair amount of suspense and more importantly lots of un-answered questions...which it didnt really deliver. I did like the concept and look forward to future shows.
So what are your thoughts...and good morning also
