Union: The 9pm @ Founder's Falls Recap Thread

Just a reminder for everyone, the Better The Devil You Know finale mission (aka "A Will To Be Free") is on Monday 7th November.
Maps would have been delivered to interested parties today/yesterday. If you're interested but didn't talk to Tam or Toppa about the topic, then feel free to have come to get one, or got one by whatever means you wish.
The maps are quite detailed floor-by-floor plans that have been hand-drawn (though not sloppy looking), with only a few vague sections with question marks denoting where there may or may not be walls (Tam can't remember -everything-). There's also a breakdown of what the mission entails.
Main Team are the ingame team, they will be lead by Tam - the job being to clear a route through the complex and take down any leadership within the Mages to allow the Rebel Trollkin to get out without further injury/loss of life. Their contacts in the complex are one Commander 'Koops' Cooper and Head Medical Officer Scott 'Pemby' Pemberton.
Secondary team is currently comprised of: Theo Dray, Martin Krannock, Simon 'Squish' Quinn and Tarvin De..volva? (Meep, sorry Welshie). Their job is to disable the security systems, unlock any lockdowns to the transport systems and clear the infirmary of injured rebels. If anyone else wants in on the Secondary team (Which may have some fiction later for their part of the mission, or may be restricted to ingame chatter through the 'Radio' system) let me know.

Last night, Maxi said she'd see about loaning Five to the above cause, because she slices, she dices, she even makes julienne fries. There was much chatter with Theo too, and others as they arrived.
Then zombies came and they delivered a smack down on them.

Final test of the mission was complete, and it took me 30 minutes to solo on Tam. Nothing was impossible to defeat solo, though some things are tougher than others (ahem, Brutes and their leader). So... RP time and the fact it's a group added on looking at 1 hour.
Hopefully, all going well, I will be around from 8pm tomorrow. Mission start pencilled in at 8.30pm, for a finish time of around 9.30pm all going well. Shouldn't eat too much into other RP event attendance that way.
If anyone's got any last minute things to check with me please let me know.

After Shanna turned up, there was more chat about what would be happening, and Tarvin dropped some truely awful puns. Really, if he keeps that up, someone is going to shoot him!

YAY! Z's Back!
All I have are bourbon biscuits though. No kippers.
Last night:
Alexia watched Rauri and Richard posturing and being generally 'male' at one another, then dismissed Rauri's attempts to flatter her and Richard's attempt to apologise to her (or was it the other way around...) with a comment regarding being used to male posturing.
Then she discussed various topics, including illusions helping with hiding from Zombies, and why Artifact Stone is cumbersome. She also could barely see a foot in front of her face due to the darkness from the Banner Event. Tarvin completely missed the point that this was a joke about her wearing -dark glasses- (look at her costume). Oh well. Puns flew everywhere.
Alexia is out this afternoon, having being portal'd over to meet with Minister Dunne and cover that end of the mission tonight.
Shanna is going to be mission-control for Secondary Team (she gets to listen to Theo swear a lot and curse out Squish's behaviour... good thing she's stubborn enough to tell him to shut up 
) and Richard offered any help he could. There was talk of being Tea-boy.
Because brilliant billionaire genius mansion-owning englishmen make the best tea.

It is indeed official. Richard is going to make tea. He's also contacted one Mister Hong to arrange a light repast following the successful (hopefully) conclusion of the mission. More on that later, I hope.
Well, there might be something about dimensional stabilisers, but the tea is the important bit.

Last night...
Rosa showed up for once, first time in FF, I believe. She was silly, it was fun.
When Portia came over asking if anyone'd seen a guy with a blue flower that night, Rosa mentioned she'd seen one! Before realising it wasn't that night, but more that afternoon. And that it was in an other zone, not that a specific location was mentioned.
Turned out, she had a blind date and it was a no show! How rude!
Rosa left to see if she could find him... but really went to pick a blue flower and wrap herself in shadows to make her male with a jacket to wear the flower in.
Teehee, she totally ussurped that blind date!

For obvious reasons, the news of the day did not go over well. Discussion was had over the reasons for the attack and how to eliminate the threat of the demon b*tch. After the others had left, Tarvin did his best to cheer Mar up slightly and, as he'd promised Alona, he escorted Mar home.

Samantha 'Sam' Christophe, aka 'The Cockroach', showed up to Founders last night. She found it was too poor light to really scribble much, so she contented herself with chatting with Cammie, Richard and Shanna, and making a few mental notes. The others found she was a sort of attack journalist.
And then there was her and Cammie. And Zombies attacked. Sam got a little freaked out as they increased in height and bulk, and realised she'll probably need more than flak/stab-proof bodyarmour if she's going to stay in Paragon. Fortunately Constance was on hand to hand out chocolate, and also a number for her to ring if she gets around to doing an article on Praetorians anytime soon.
